Fun fact: if you play the main theme on repeat, the beginning and end of the theme has the same start and ending tone. So it comes off as a never ending piece of music.
This represents Aveline's character really well; her background, her vodou connections, and what she's fighting for. It may be a less popular game, but she played a big part nonetheless
@KB Y: Yeah I also wish we heard more of it in the titles of the game on PS3/4 versions. Winifred really played to Aveline's African heritage here, looking fwd to playing it again and gaining another Platinum on the PS4.
this whole sound track sucked, and i came here to see it was a generic composer and it all made sense. what the hell did they do with jasper kyd. that composer was a god in ac sountracks.
She was never an Assassin... She was just a slave and became an Assassin for nothing. It's a joke... Yes, underrated. Actually it could have been bigger.
@@emrecelebi9482 She wasn't a Slave, she had a Slave disguise [ for blending in ]. I'm marathon-ing the whole series at the moment, I'd never played Liberation before, but it was such a pleasant surprise. Aveline shone as a character, the disguises were a great idea, New Orleans was well designed and just straight up beautiful, the Bayou was nasty in such an immersive way, and the ancient ruins felt incredible to delve into. Fantastic game.
Im glad it helped you with depression, but this game is pretty much the worst in game design and polish in AC series. And the series in general lacks in good game design. It was interesting to see it run on a handheld though
This is from a time period where AC games felt unique music wise. From AC3 to Rogue, the main themes were actually unique, and not just Ezio's Family remixes. (That mentioned, I did notice the Ezio's Family cue in this theme at 1:31, but even there it was only an "easter egg")
Nicolás Grosso Only heard on the PS3/Xbox 360 and PS4 remastered editions, somehow it was left out of the original Vita edition. Great soundtrack to this game too, doesn’t get as much love as the others do.
When I played this on vita I didn't much like it but I now own it on vita, ps3, ps4 and switch and after 4 playthroughs I'll admit I really like this game. Well most of it. The bayou can be awful to navigate.
@@DonaldFromKingdomHearts Fr. They just gave us small Aveline's story and after that.... nothing... literally nothing. I wish they'd revive her stories.
@@proghostzgamecreed6555 Haytham was born to be an Assassin, his father Edward was training him to become one, but on the night his father was murdered, Haytham killed one of the men to protect his mother in front of her and she disowned him ( she didn’t like seeing her 8 year old son kill someone ). She gave him to the bastard that had his father killed, Reginald Birch who was friend of her family but also the Templar Grandmaster. Thus he was indoctrinated into a Templar but, he wears a coat with the Assassin insignia on it which he hasn’t removed, this suggests he is proud of his duel heritage. The sword he wields is his fathers, the blade is sadly stolen from another assassin he was fighting with.
Never could finish this game, I felt that the voice acting was incredibly weak, the story uninteresting, most of the soundtrack was awful, the Templars were pushed to the side, and Aveline was cheated out of a proper story. But damn is this a good theme.
xXDopamine.InbalanceXx: Yes its only for the PS3 version, I liked this game too and I know it didn't get very good reviews from fans. TBH a lot have "grown out" of the series imo as they are always saying bad stuff about it these days-I personally love them all (I haven't played Chronicles though) even this one.

Same goes to "A Pirates Life" in the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The ending and the beginning are the same. It is pretty common thing in music
A little late, but Assassin's Creed Soundtracks are always priceless

Most underrated theme in the whole series.

Small? She literally fought for the liberation of slaves. If that's not a huge "fuck you" to Templars, then I don't know what is.
most underrated ac theme ever
nah,Bloodlines was more

She for sure deserved a mainline series game, or at least a novel or a bigger DLC, just something, anything.

No, she is considered mediocore for a good reason

The Remastered Version is really fun
Compared to Odyssey, liberation seems like a masterpiece
Seriously underrated game and theme IMO.
Aveline doesn't get enough love as a character IMO.

Good game, phenomenal soundtrack. Might be my favorite OST out of all the AC games.
I've only just heard this for the first time a couple of days ago, but this is probably the best AC main theme. Unique and beautiful.
Man i love this game, brutal like connor

It makes me so mad that this story and Avelien didn't get the game they deserved.
The story ended right when it was picking up. Like...did they accidentally delete the second half of the game?

Esse era a última tema de AC que faltava eu ouvir, interessante
The best AC game ever and the best assassin… I wish they made a movie, Halle Berry or Rihanna would play an older version
Halle Berry would be a better pick !
Nathalie Emmanuel will be a great
Definitely buying AC3 with Liberation included, to me it looks fun despite being the most hated title but playing as a woman is badass.
Odyssey is the most hated main game, Liberation is the most hated dlc.
more like this and Ezio Family and Ratonaketon sountrack
I like how this suits both Aveline and Connor, if there is a remix of both theme songs it would be awesome.
