Hey Fletch, firstly congrats on your recent growth, you deserve it. I was wondering if you would ever make a video about how you "visualise" a tactic. It's easy for anyone to analyse a squad, find strengths and weaknesses and plug players into their preferred roles and add some complimentary team instructions. However, I find that it can be difficult to actually visualise what my players are going to do in-game, tactics never work out how I intended. I also struggle with squad planning and tactical planning. I may have found a tactic that worked for a season but generally that tactic suited my players, but after a season I may have funds to buy new players, so a different tactic may be in order. There's also the annual problem of being "found out", normally around December/January. Your two cents on these issues would be amazing. Cheers. Note: I am playing single player.
@@jiggins63 thank you, yeah I think I know what you're asking. I will cover this in future videos, tips I can give in the meantime. -Use a tactic board -Watch a couple games in full match -rewatch all your goals from a season and see what goals you're scoring and not scoring

My goal is to play a dominant game. Score a lot of goals and have possession of the ball. Is there any advice you can give me on this subject? In my current tactic, I use SK-d, 2xBPD, Libero-d, 2xWB-s, 2xVOL-a, 2xIW-s and AF. My players with the IW role have the stay wide instruction. I've literally just found your videos and I love the in-depth nature you go into everything! Top tier tactical breakdown! I do have a question though (I must admit I'm 16 mins into this video currently) when applying this logic and thinking to single player saves, is it not detrimental changing your formation every week to suit the opposition though? I know things like tactical familiarity shouldn't be taken at face value, but ofcourse signing players (especially if you're with a club with a little to no budget) to suit a specific formation and style is important and if you end up changing to a formation where they don't suit, won't you end up with a huge squad? TLDR - Basically I'm asking that in a single player game is it best to focus on similar formations, so 3 varients of a 442 (diamond, traditional etc) or is it best to change up your formation from week to week to suit your opponent?
@@rkb5496 I have covered all this in other videos. Too much to explain in a message. Smart tactics > Tactical familiarity I'm a team in Canada. Change my tactic most games. Lost one game in a season playing against some of the best FM streamers.

Hey mate. Thanks for these videos. They've been fantastic and am having fun altering how I think tactically.
