    Thanks for sharing. Will try this method for sure. Will become very handy in order to place crankbaits at fish level in open water.

    Great explanation… I have a question if using inline weight say 6 feet before harness is there a dive curve chart for that lure depth

      Ok I think I found the chart for the inline weights for example 2oz at 1.5mph 50feet back gets me 17feet deep… is it at that 50 feet back mark I’m clipping on a inline board? Then letting board out to whatever

    Will the lures also determine depths

      So like flickers vs reef runner both out 50 ft

      @@jarretmoore3858 the weight will be at the same depth. The lure will then dive below the weight based on using 50' of line. A Reef Runner 800 would run about 14" deeper than the weight, a Flicker shad only about 8' deeper than the weight
