Of course I wanted the Switch this time and basically I kept waiting and waiting until I got my OLED on Christmas 2022. Yeah had to wait almost 10 years but it was well worth it (Switch is my favorite videogame console and the Wii U was back then). (Plus before you start feeling bad at me I got a New 3DS XL in the meantime which was my favorite handheld and second favorite console. I had to choose between that or the Wii U and that was months before the Switch's announcement! So I had the chance to get the U but chose not to.) Another videogame-less example might be COVID. We, among thousands of families, thought it was over for us and went poor, plus 2021 was my first year of highschool and depression kicked in. And here we are in 2024 there's no COVID, no masks (which were both a pain and extremely annoying, plus made me even more shy than I already was. Now I got used to stay without them and I'm glad because I don't want a mask to also ruin my relationships) and while we aren't basically rich like before, we are fine both psycologically and physically. And so many people
