on vestel ....you can switch some screens....i made a jvc from a hitachi :P same chassis same led's different boards different screens...from a fhd to a hd ready but it worked just fine
Vestel must have made many thousands of these sets using similar boards and only changing the logo to match the badge on the front. They were sold by supermarkets and discount stores online. Cheap and good enough until they fail.
So for us ordinary mortals who don't want to pay out for a board for an uncommon set, but we have the flash image and the general tools etc, given that the electrolytics are the only things on the boards likely to drift - changing out the SMD caps (and the cold-side caps on the PSU) along with a new flash IC will be much more likely to be a lasting repair right?
mb130 really common, but need to match screen, I bought a replacement that had 'google inside'' which I wanted as ours has 'alexa inside' but it just sits and shows nothing.... I do wonder if i could do something with firmware, but then i'd be back to alexa... also i do wonder if the google firmware would work with the plug in 50 quid usb microphone we had to buy separately to get alexa working

Great fix, i would like to see a custom logo added if you do decide at some point to give it a go .
Allo.

Satelite connector missing
a desperate person could cut the right holes in the plastic
I'd do that if it was my telly!
