    They should definitely make you an affiliate for this mount because I literally would have never found this mount on my own. Thanks for showing this!

    Love this vid ! this mount deserves much more attention than it gets. It literally bring articulation feature to PVS14, which can be achieved by some j-arms but having this build in mount saves money and also gives more options within j-arms. thank you very much for this video, this will definitely be considered option for me when I get my PVS14 one day.

    So I just got my first 14 in mid November, gen 3 white phos. Super happy with it, at the time I decided to run my luck on some chinesium mount and was shocked on how well it worked and didn't drop my $3,800 mono 0.0
    I definitely ran a chord on the dovetail mount and anchored it to my helmet.
    Fast foward till last weekend I realized I needed to spend more money and buy me a mount for my needs lol
    I mainly use my NV for work when I'm out on the road after sun set in dark and rural areas. I noticed the I tap my mono on to the A pillar of my freight truck getting in and out. And if I'm in a hurry to keep it moving and not remove my helmet, my mono slaps the top trim of my truck interior.
    So I decided to go for this mount and dual dove tail mount.
    The dual dove tail mount arrived yesterday and my INVG hyper should arrive tomorrow.
    Actually super excited to not tap and slap my mono on my trucks interior 🙃
    Just need to figure a way to anchor the mono to my helmate now

      You can't anchor the mount to your helmet? Does your helmet not have a NVG Shroud onboard?

    • @MRD0889
      @MRD0889 Год назад

      @missionspec yea I got a shroud lol that's how I'm planing on mounting the INVG 😅
      I ment yo tether the 14 to my helmete like I had it set on my Chinese mount.
      The dual dove tail mount dosnt really have a spot to tether
      So I'm thinking of a zip tie with a ring on it and then use the helmets bungiright for right eye use and left for left eye use.
      As soon as I get home today I'll give it a shot

    This is the first video I’ve seen of the INVG showings it’s big Advantage over say a G11 or G24. Great review!

      Thank you. Yes, it is kind of the best kept secret for PVS14 users. I think it people knew about it they would be buying them. I rarely see one in the wild.

      The G24 has always been overrated. It's not even the best mount out there. People only like it because "SOF" uses it. For example for bridged setups the Nortos low sto is the same price, and yet it is lighter and has the force to over come which is a better than the finnicky push lock.

    You can also "articulate" it from L eye to R eye in an emergency

    Are there versions of these without the serrations/bumps on the main arm and a lever to adjust the back and forth instead of the latch?

    Definitely going to check this out! Wonder if it will work with a Wilcox dovetail j-arm?… seems like that would be even better than the dual dovetail…

    I'm curious your thoughts on the INVG Hyper vs something like the Lo-Sto or AKA II Hyper with a Noisefighters AX14-PRO arm. Seems the latter give you the same tight stow as the INVG, but also the ability to switch eyes easier than the Dual Dovetail.

    Dude what is going on, I've been Googling and researching night vision mounts for months, why has this thing never come up? I've read about the Rhino, Rhino II, G24, G11, and G22 about a thousand times each, plus all the respective knockoffs, how am I only learning about this thing's existence now!?

    • @DaveSmith-cp5kj
      @DaveSmith-cp5kj 2 года назад +3

      It's because originally this was made for the PSQ-20 hybrid monocular so these things were unobtanium. Many on the market were stolen so people stayed away from them. Legit ones were wildly priced at $700. Now that L3 has moved away from monocular and onto the ENVG and the F-PANO, these things are now hitting the market at reasonable prices.
      That and group think is heavy in the night vision world. No one knows about the Lo-sto which is superior in every way to the G24 and nearly the same price. Afterall, just see how long false info on the "Gen 4" and thing film and filmless went on.

      @J B That mount is usuable, but it isn't the real INVG mount. It's an airsoft clone china makes. Whatever you do, make sure to tether your NVD AND your COTI.
      EDIT, NVM just your NVD. You got the hybrid not the clip on.

    What are your thoughts on force to overcome vs push button. Lookin at norotos Lo sto, and not a lot of discussion on push button vs fto. How much force is needed? Can the nods slam down when bumped or with activity?

    • @missionspec
      @missionspec  Год назад

      That's a really tough decision. Force makes sense on something light like a 14. I'm not sure about a set of duals.

  • @PatRiot104

    What do you mean it won't work with the J-Arm?

    • @missionspec
      @missionspec  7 месяцев назад

      This mount requires a dovetail interface. Like the Dual Dovetail that was featured in the video. It takes place of the JArm.

  • @ameritus9041
    @ameritus9041 Год назад

    would a noisefighters ax14 work with the invg hypermount? Is the dovetail interface the same as on a wilcox mount or is it proprietary?

    • @missionspec
      @missionspec  Год назад

      The dual dovetail featured hear worked equally good on the INVG and a Wilcox G24.

    Why do you run a single on your non-dominant eye?

    • @missionspec
      @missionspec  Год назад

      That is the accepted method. That way if the lights were to come on and you had to use your daylight optic you could do so without having to flip the NOD up. If you shoot with both eyes open it is a non-issue.
