- Here we are for another new project from TEA, the official trailer for our second Touhou Project Fan-Album, Calm Sea and Raging Lake! A release date is yet to be disclosed, but please look forward to our album!
Plot synopsis:
One morning, water seems to start rising by the lakes of Gensokyo. No one pays attention to this, as they believe that the water rose due to recent rainfall and would go back to normal. As time passes, the water suddenly engulfs most of the land, leaving humans and youkai stranded.
The Hakurei Shrine had been flooded over somewhat as well, leaving the Hakurei shrine maiden without a place to stay. The same fate had come upon the residents of the Moriya Shrine and the ordinary magician Marisa Kirisame’s house.
The rising water also seemed to be a mix between freshwater and saltwater, both having some sort of magical property, with fish populations rising and aquatic creatures being more aggressive than usual. Join our heroines in their quest to find the root of these floods in this underwater adventure!

Ohh I just realized Reimu has both her yellow and blue little neck tie accessories combined in her art, also love the addition of headbands on Reimu and Sanae, and now that Sanae has pants I think that really suit her and the summer vibe
This channel and the team behind the albums got me downloading tons of music on my phone I just can’t get tired, really want the listen more about it
Looks and sounds hype so far, there are already a lot of Touhou-style albums/fangames to do with sea, but this feels like it might go into more atmospheric route.
Also once again, I adore stage 1 boss' design, even if it might seem overdesigned for some. Kois are underrated and also I really like that Sanae design.
Damn these marine-benefit concept-like albums are runnin fast

Amazing! it really makes me want an oficial water themed Touhou game.
That opening track is super snazzy, I love it

Amazing!!! Ugh just these little snippets have me so excited, I'm loving the overall style so far. And just like the last album, the team members working on this are all awesome! It's so exciting to see so many big names in one place, seeing artists I've been such huge fans of together is the best.
I think I'll leave my thoughts on the tracks for the actual release, but the character designs are super fun so far! Once again the aesthetic is perfect, it feels like a good blend between ZUN's work and something new.
