Well it's Norse myth, aka a European Pantheon, so changing the appearance of European god to be black makes no sense at all, and is a bit disrespectful to the ethnic and cultural heritage of the religion. She is described as being deathly pale with hair the colour of dried blood. No doubt if a GoW game was made about Egypt there would be completely ethnic homogony. Thor is also described as big and brawny which doesn't necessarily mean fat.

after now have beaten the game twice, i honestly wish i could go back to this time & re-experience it all over again. everything about this game from the first teasers, to actual gameplay was nothing less than phenomenal.
Tyr was the central figure for nearly 75% of the game. Sure, the objective was to scatter Faye's ashes, but it was Tyr's principles, his story, and his challenges that guided our trio. Without Tyr, there was no finding Jotunheim, and therefore no finishing the journey/game.

it is sad too see that people don´t understand the meaning of kratos `no`. I played all the original god of war trilogie back then and this is the saddest thing in the whole of the trailer, and no one seems too know anymore. and they call themselves god of war fans really sad.
So we know that there were 4 Gods of War in this universe. I forgot which mythologies (Im almost positive one of them is Egyptian) but in the last game, you see symbols referencing them and Kratos even briefly talks about the other 3 towards the end of the game when you find out his wife was a giant. Im theorizing that there will be more to the series after Norse mythology and we will see a collection of all the Gods of War into 1 epic conclusion of an ending with the mythologies mixing. Potentially, an irony of where the Gods of War are attempting to bring peace once and for all through a "war of wars" scenario, like Tyr was attempting.

For those who aren't familiar with Tyr his the Norse God of War, the son of Odin and half brother of Thor. His the God who lost his hand by having show good faith to chain up fenrir as God's was scared of the giant wolf as only Tyr dared to do it but by chaining up the wolf it got angry and chewed off Tyr other hand making him one handed on texts. As Tyr growing stronger Odin thought that he's a threat for his power (authority) he decided to imprison him and spread the rumors that he died making all of the 9 realms to believe he did. Tyr is also alias to Law, Justice and Honor Hopefully it helps

So we know that there were 4 Gods of War in this universe. I forgot which mythologies (Im almost positive one of them is Egyptian) but in the last game, you see symbols referencing them and Kratos even briefly talks about the other 3 towards the end of the game when you find out his wife was a giant.
Im theorizing that there will be more to the series after Norse mythology and we will see a collection of all the Gods of War into 1 epic conclusion of an ending with the mythologies mixing. Potentially, an irony of where the Gods of War are attempting to bring peace once and for all through a "war of wars" scenario, like Tyr was attempting.
Man I wish I have enough money to but both the game and ps5. Tho I don't mind just watching gamers/ RUclipsrs playing he game.

For those who aren't familiar with Tyr his the Norse God of War, the son of Odin and half brother of Thor. His the God who lost his hand by having show good faith to chain up fenrir as God's was scared of the giant wolf as only Tyr dared to do it but by chaining up the wolf it got angry and chewed off Tyr other hand making him one handed on texts. As Tyr growing stronger Odin thought that he's a threat for his power (authority) he decided to imprison him and spread the rumors that he died making all of the 9 realms to believe he did. Tyr is also alias to Law, Justice and Honor
