Great figure. Run hot tap water on those shoulder pads. They eventually will release. I got one that was missing the cap inside the helmet where the neck ball peg pops into. Diamond Select sent me a new helmet head sculpt for free after i contacted them about it.
It's been 80° here in Dayton, left mine in my car for a half hour. Everything moves as smooth as butter. I was lucky enough to get a good one off bbts. No paint blemishes, or swapped hips. A complete steal for 30$
Thanks for the update Anthony. My experience with this action figure was much like your update video with some caveats. I pre-ordered mine when it was revealed, and since I received mine before I had a chance to watch any YT reviews, I surmised I got one of the 1st off the assembly line. Mine has no indiscretions with the paint anywhere - yet mine has also been posed only twice. I attempted to move the shoulder shields however mine did not move despite allowing a little give under great pressure. I am unfamiliar whether this variant had wings from the back pack. I believe the back pack was some sort of power cell.
The one I got was pretty solid. Few paint blemishes. The shoulders on mine rotated pretty easily after a little back and forth wiggling.
I got mine after your review actually! I know you had paint chipping, incorrect parts and just bad QC overall, but short of the swapped arms mine had zero paint chipping and really good QC overall! The shoulder pads were very stiff, but I used more force than I felt comfortable with at first using and they actually freed up with no paint chipping, I hope Select can keep up the trend from this, the fantastic four, Blade and Cap!
I am one of the many who did see your initial review of this figure, and so I appreciate the follow-up/updates video here today. Curious. Where in America are these Marvel Select figures found? What stores? As you know, I live in London, England.
Cheers, mate.

I've only seen them in comic or hobby shops
Ah excellent! Thank you for your reply, my friend.
I've also seen a few Marvel Selects sold at the Disney Stores, it's usually just Spider-Man though
oh yeah. these too but i dont have any around me
@@chewymewI saw Beta Ray Bill at one a while back when I was on vacation
Got mine from BBTS and only issues were paint coming off on the ankles. All the articulation worked without heating anything up. Love this thing.
Mine shoulder pads rotated though I bought it loose from ebay. Everything was fine, just the head with the lenses had a little scruff on the back, but won't use that head so it's fine. I am not able to make out if arms on mine are backwards, cause they are not crooked at any point. This is the only iron man I have in my collection and I am really still amazed with the amount of stuff, paint look this guy has
The newer batch of this figure has the shoulder glued completely to the body, and older batch was able to move . I have both and I have to use hot water to separate the shoulders on the new one in order for them to rotate.
Thanks for the updated review!
I'm not interested in play roulette with quality.
Maybe older editions were a bit better, that’s why we were able to rotate his shoulder pads 🤔
I'm hoping to find one at the Heroes Convention in Charlotte, NC next month, so wish me luck! 🙏
Such a pretty figure to look at 😍
Mine was good out of the box tho i had to unstick one shoulder but it did so easy so as uk person i can say the others ive seen here have been fine too so they are out their
I cannot see any articulation for the shoulders from the video, it seems like the chest and shoulders are the same piece, are you sure they suppose to rotate?
yes.
Yes. The softer plastic shoulder cover piece rotates where it connects to the chest.
It would be great figure but damn getting one without QC issues is like walking through minefield!
I like whatever you're saying
Will you be interested in review the McFarlane JLA Plastic Man Wave?
yeah but i doubt ill ever find any
Returns are way harder since I live outside the US, and I truly don't want to buy a 2nd or 3rd figure to get the good one, so I'm gonna pass on this Silver Centurion, looks dope but way too many problems. Greetins from Perú, Anthony!
I think the boots are uneven
The ankle joints should never have been painted, the plastic itself should've just been that color
Anthony’s any thoughts on the Mcfarlane toys and marvel collab?
They're just small statues, right? Todd loves statues. I couldn't care less and I'm not sure there's really a need in the market for more cheap statues. Time will tell. I think todd gets away with things and licenses which others might not simply due to his name.
Too bad he doesnt deliver that much. His practices like Jokerized figures, separate figures with different headsculpts, useless variants etc. are really off putting and not consumer friendly at all.
Talk about bad luck😂
