The problem with full Oliver Reed interviews being posted here is that they tend to almost immediately get taken down, and these sort of snippets seem to be all that make it out alive… I’m wondering if it’s a public relations issue with his estate or whatever . No clue really but it is rather strange either way
He was a delightful rogue. And a fine actor as well. Drank too much over the years, but I'd be the last guy to lecture him about it. I'd be trying to keep up with him, and failing, if not falling...Check out Women in Love w/Glenda Jackson. The Devils, and of course, Gladiator, his last movie.
Of course he would, as a villain. But he was too charismatic an actor to be ignored. Check out him in The Three Musketeers, with Michael York, Raquel Welch, and Faye Dunaway. Excellent...Men will always be men. Even if you're feeling out of fashion. Don't be afraid to be yourself, no matter how the wind is blowing from time to time.
