Another great cook on the E-series griddle. I have made shrimp fried rice on my griddle and it was great. I made the rice the day before and stored it in the frig uncovered. It came out great. If you add just a little sesame oil (don't need much) next time it tastes even more like takeout fried rice.
Good video bud! I just got my griddle about two weeks ago and have used it several times. So Blackstone came out with a three piece set of two spatulas and one set of tongs that are made out of the plastic. Like the griddle itself, you cant find them in the store but you can buy them online from Walmarts website. I had them shipped to my house and paid about $25 with the shipping. They are the same size as the metal and very well built. Much wider than the ones you got from Amazon. I would highly suggest that you look into it. Worth every penny in my opinion. Keep up the great videos and I look forward to seeing the next one!
Thanks for watching! I actually found the spatula and tong set a couple of days ago in one of my local walmarts much to my surprise, somehow my googling skills must be off lol. Unfortunately, I already had the other video done with the other tools ready to go so I'm going to do another video showing it and the egg rings. Thanks for letting me know though. The griddle has quickly become my goto whenever I can use it. Even my wife who never cooks has started using it! Lol👍👍
The E Series is my fourth Blackstone I have not used it yet , I need an open spot 😁 I like your videos I watched the unboxing very informative this video got me to subscribe looking forward to more E Series info and recipes 👍 Your Fried Rice looked delicious !!
That's a lot of Blackstones!! I'm certainly planning on doing more videos since II really enjoy cooking on this little griddle so much. Thanks for watching!!
@@AllAmericanMack yvw 😁 I love Blackstone griddle cooking I started 5 years ago with the 22" table top then went to the 28" with the stand then I just had to have the 36" Griddle w Air fryers that was my Mother's day present then I saw a video about the E Series and I couldn't resist I had to add it to my collection I cook outside more than inside they are so much fun to use we cooked outside this past winter in -20 temps just for Smashburgers 🤣 we cook in the rain too !! Can't wait to see what you come up with next 😁👍see ya soon !!
Like and Sub. I have the adventure series combo with the 17" griddle and deep fryer in my garage. I use it for frying fish and cooking burgers and fries and what not. After watching your videos, I just pulled the trigger on the E series for my kitchen. My Curtis Stone griddle died on me, so this was right on time. Great videos bud! Cook more stuff!
As a sushi chef you.ho appreciate your videos, I can attest Calrose rice used is the ONLY rice recommended to make delicious fried r8ces like yours. Thank you
Hey Mack, I really love my E-series 17”. And my cousin out in Nevada is making me a customized/artisan pizza peel (designed for a brick oven) that is the perfect size. So I was looking for detailed dough and ingredients recipes for pizzas (rather than buying frozen). I’ve not found much in this area and maybe my search was ill-specified. Do you have any idea how you would develop a dough recipe that would be appropriate for the 17” E-series? Thanks and take care, Tom KC3QAC
The dough recipe I used here was one I found a long time ago and was the only one I've ever tried. When I was still married, my wife had a Kitchenaid mixer but I was happy with the dough recipe (for everything but the Blackstone) so I never even looked for another one. After we divorced she took the Kitchenaid but I just picked one up on Black Friday so my plan is to try to find a more suitable dough recipe soon.
Have you tried a home made pizza on the Blackstone? Philly cheese steak looks great, I had candied jalapenos to mine. With the egg fried rice I usually mix my eggs in a bowl just before everything else is done, then just pour them over the rice. It's delicious either way. Great video.
We make homemade pizza sometimes in the oven and I haven't made it on the Blackstone yet but I'm planning to. The problem with the candied jalapenos is we eat them up before I have a chance to use them in anything lol. That's a good idea on how to add the egg, I never thought of it and will give it a try! Thanks for watching!
I don't. I've actually looked into building something reliable and economical but never got around to it. I think it can be done though. One option is to get a Mytee Air Hog since they have a built in pump out. I'm not a fan of Mytee in general but think the Air Hog is one of their better pieces of equipment. Plus, the Air Hog is cheaper than many pump outs by themselves. I know this wasn't the answer you were looking for but I just wanted to throw it out there as an option. Magic Wand Co has had some very good prices on it also.
I don't remember because this video was a while back but typically I only cook shrimp for maybe 3 or 4 minutes because they cook so quickly and don't want to overcook them and make them tough.
Aside from not having a place to put a traditional Blackstone griddle, the rust issue crossed my mind. Here in the deep south the humidity level is insane and I don't want to have to worry about rust.
I want one of these so bad!! Have the 36" for outdoors.. Girlfriend and I are going to start making videos together on that, but can't find this e-series indoor griddle!! Ugh... 😩
I just checked walmart.com and they have 4 in stock. I've seen them come in stock several times, you just have to keep checking. At some point I want the oudoor griddle when I have the room for sure. Cool channel btw, just subbed!
@@AllAmericanMack oh!! Thank you!! Have a lot coming on the channel.. girlfriend has a kidney infection... her parents used to own a cafe.. loves to cook.. and I absolutely love cooking on the Blackstone!! 👍
That's great to know. Funny thing is, we have quite a few Jimmy Johns around here yet I've never been to one! I guess I need to go check them out. We were wanting to get a delivery from them once but they have a crazy small delivery area and unfortunately we weren't in it. But I will for sure give them a try!
Oh wow, .50? The wheels in my head are turning now...Philly cheese steaks and a lot more! I think there are going to be quite a few sandwiches in my future. Thanks again!
You're right and that is a concern but I did try a wood spatula and it wasn't thin enough to work. Although I at least look for BPA-free products, I don't think these are. I've since switched to the Blackstone nylon tools which shouldn't have BPA and I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think nylon comtains pthalates either.
Blackstone E-Series utensils are the way to go. Love my E-Series blackstone
EXCELLENT Video..
Thank You for sharing this.

You literally made everything I was wondering about! Great video
Buy the blackstone 2 spatula 1 tong kit they are perfect for the e series.
Great video I ordered my black stone e series grill looking forward to watching you for ideas thank you 😊
Block off the grease slot to keep the above heat inside to melt cheese

Haven’t finished the video but I wonder if it would do better in a 22 if you put one side at a lower temp with the pizza and jack up the other side
That may work but unfortunately I can't try it because I don't have the 22" any longer.

black stone makes great tools for this griddle
I actually ended up getting the E-Series tools after I made this video. You're right about them, they are very nice!
Beautiful rice.
I'm really liking it and only wish I had found out about it sooner.

Pizza doesn't have to be cooked at a high temperature. 350 for 18 minutes is plenty.
Hi do you have any video on adding a pump out on a portable thank you

HI. HOW LONG DO YOU COOK THE SHRIMP.

@@AllAmericanMack THANK YOU. I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS
I ordered one for my 5th wheel camper. I had a gas Blackstone but it’s a pain to keep it seasoned and the rust at bay.
Aside from not having a place to put a traditional Blackstone griddle, the rust issue crossed my mind. Here in the deep south the humidity level is insane and I don't want to have to worry about rust.
@@AllAmericanMack damn right. We are on the Alabama gulf coast so we know all about the humidity.
Does it smoke up the house?
Overall I've noticed very little smoke. The only exception has been when I've cooked on really high heat but even then it's been minimal.
What is the total size, length ,width and height.
Blackstone E-17 .... Your HOTTEST part of your griddle is the CENTER! :) Left and right not as hot. Hope this helps?
Prob is the hood isn't supposed to be closed for more then 15 mins in the manual.
Thanks for the heads up! I completely missed that when I was looking through it.
Thanks for letting us know.

What part of South Carolina do you live?
I don't live in South Carolina, just the south... the *deep* south.
Oh ok. I was going to tell you there is a Jimmy John’s sandwich shop and that was your best option to get cheesesteak rolls from 👍🏾

Pizza looked horrible but everything else looks fantastic 👍
Sorry but the Chinese restaurants use only Jasmine rice, But you can use any kind of rice to your taste
You should use wood spatulas. The plastic ones really do leach plastic chemicals into your food.
You're right and that is a concern but I did try a wood spatula and it wasn't thin enough to work. Although I at least look for BPA-free products, I don't think these are. Flip the dough...then assemble
You have to rotate your pizza 16 minutes you should have rotated 4 times
smash burgers are a fail
And 1st of all those kind of pizzas are no good no matter how you cook them really
Yuck
