The nutrient solution is just salt, if you use bottled water no you won't have to wait 24 hr. If you use tap water yes because the chlorine needs to evaporate off.
@@aviyagrande141hello, I made a DIY very tiny spoon (it looks like the spoon in Aqua Dragons and you may check its size) and I feed them with one scoop of it. Since there are no instructions in the manual, I followed the instructions in Aqua Dragons since they are just the same. Unfortunately, they died after feeding them, I do not know why and what is the cause, I start over and feed them half of the spoon and they still died. I do not know if its about the food or the temperature since it is cold in my room. This is the reason why I stopped updating them :(
the oxygen beads don't seems to actually do anything I think there just included just because, you will need to aerate the water every now and again blowing bubbles with a straw can work.

Sorry for the late response! It is half a gallon of water. Supposedly, I should have lessen it.
