Dropping some very niche info, but. You can reproc the lucky pants by just pulling your ghost out. Handy if you wanna keep Aces perk goin and continue to get the bonus from lucky pants
To counter the downtime of lucky pants, you can get out your ghost. For some reason, that resets the perk.
honestly i''v been rocking the lucky pants non stop since it got reworked... such a great exotic!!
if you bring your ghost and then dismiss it, you restart the lucky pants buff so you can actually use 2 had cannons back to back.

I got one with fourth time is the charm and vorpal so I use it on a boss dps build and got 1.2m damage using luky pant with two kinetic wepon damage mod on the pants
Don’t use the adept mag mod. Use a reg one. Get same amount without the handling hit.
handling doesn’t really matter since you are using lucky pants which basically gives you QuickDraw on Hand Cannons
I use lucky pants with an arc hunter whenever I am doing solo prophecy runs, because using star eater gathering storm, an auto loading explosive light adept hothead and a wilder flight with malfeasance and lucky pants, I’m able to always comfortably two phase the boss, I could one phase if I didn’t stop to kill all the hobgoblins. Lucky pants is so much fun and I love it
People underestimate wilderflight, it’s the highest damage GL by a good 30% from how the double shot damage works

Currently my favorite build to use for hunter right now. I can run other exotics along with wardens to really get some good damage in.
I love it too. Malfeasance is great since the exploding slugs bump up the hit count so you get to 10 after 5 shots. Too bad the slugs don't get the boost too
My brosephf was slayin out with malfeasance l. pants, auto loading spire grenade launcher and bait/switch reconstruction rocket launcher. Swap to sar eaters scales right before dps to launch your super then swap back and rock. This man was putting us all to shame with his damage
Your original video is outdated, now that you do not need Boss Spec and can use Backup Mag mod, seems Fourth Time the Charm is not needed anymore (based on how long the lucky pants buff lasts and how fast you can shot all these bullets). Seems now the god roll is Demo or Enlightened + Vorpal (far better perks for a HC in general gameplay also). Being this weapon a primary, FTC doesnt even have the "gets the ammo out of thin air" value of specials and heavies (infinite ammo).
Love this build, as a newer player it's been my go-to for pretty much everything since I discovered it a few months ago. The double hand cannon clunkiness is unfortunate though, often times it can seem to bug out even if the cooldown has already run out, and also because picking up tangles and orbs will trigger the illegally modded holster without noticing and then you go to switch and it doesn't work, I learned this while using sunshot for clear and wardens law, but with practice and awareness its still doable it just takes more effort.
My go to for lost sector soloing is Whirling Maelstrom Hunter. Shackle grenades, beyblades, and lucky pants handcannon just demolishes everything with good tangle cooldown usage, and you regen your shackle grenades very quickly so you have full control over champs, and this is coming from someone who relies heavily on solar restoration builds usually.
It feels like a pulse rifle with worse target acquisition. I don't like the feel of it, and it really only works with lucky pants due to the burst firing rounds quickly not so much its default damage.
It feels like a compromised weapon, with nothing about it worth of a compromise. Its easier to land the shots now than it was before but I don't think this weapon type has any pros, yet it has intrinsic cons.
I mean if heavy burst was a sniper with same kinda damage it would be considered worst in slot. It doesn't feel good to play, it has damage, but it feels like its slower to kill in PVE.
I just dont like the way it feels against ads. Malfeasance is dps and ad clear
So wouldn’t crimson just be better? 40% exotic bonus and it shoots three bullets…
I think the main point here being that it frees up your exotic slot and still puts very respectable damage numbers down
As a lucky pants main i would not use a auto loading mod. I frequently put away my handcannon way missing around so i can use it without wasting my bonus
My current setup with Luckys Law is Solar. Acrobats for a damage buff, Healing nade to stay alive, Scorch fragments to deal with trash, dps super if needed.
Make a load out with this and and star eater, start a dmg encounter with star eater blade barage and hot swap to wardens pants build .
Anyone knows how to get wardens law?
I was wrong it’s this weeks drop..bungie changed it to swarm last week
instead of vorpal it`s better to use frenzy, cause it`s 100% reload buff and 15% damage buff, more suitable for most scenarios
Vorpal is better on primary weapons, it's a 20% increase, and if you have fourth times on it you dont really need to reload it cause you'll be out of time for lucky pants.
You need one fttc,vorpal for bosses and one enlighten,frenzy for general purpose.
Before anyone argues ENL/FRE WASTES STATS BOOHOOO, yeh but warden just like 120s feel like SHIT without frenzy on and you don't exactly have frenzy on 100% of the time so enlighten allows the gun to feel nice even while procing frenzy.
Enlighten is the only reason that new 120 from rituals feels good to use, adequate base stats together with a perk that fixes the two handicaps those guns have.

@@rangonick2005 it 5% difference and applies only to goldbars, warden is the best DPS among any legendary HCs, and you will use it even when LP on cooldown
Ok the best dps loadout ive found is recon bipod apex predator, wardens law lucky pants and merciless just in case

I use this build on Strand just cuz the woven mail and the shadow clone when i’m boutta die. I use tractor for my exotic and my boy lemme tell you, all them mfs get deleted 👀

Have you been asleep for the past few months? This build is old news now, you should gave covered it when there was the overload handcannon glitch. That was some mega damage times.
Chambered Compensator, Extended Mag, 4x a Charm, Vorpal. This thing is a beast.
My Truthteller has all those perks except I have disruption break instead of QuickDraw. I’ve been using this build already. Sic

Shoot witherhoard blast boss with star eater blade barrage, swap to lucky pants malf. Does stupid amounts of damage.

I have a frenzy triple-tap Trust with a Vorpal-ambitious assassin 7th seraph revolver. Radiant solar hunter just mows down everything with those two 6-guns.

I like discord a little better for the 3rd column. If you have 24 in the mag you last the entire damage buff without fourth time needed. It also gives an improved subsistence if you need to clear ads.
Actually you can last the damage phase with 18 rounds. Have tested it, that's why I like the enlightened action with vorpal negates some of the reload and handling issues.
Also discord doesn't reload your mag it, improves handling etc but it makes special( andvi assume heavy but only tested it on special weapons) so you can never run out of special. For primary weapons all it does is buff handling etc the ammo side is useless for primaries......enlightened action gives you basiclynthe sane without needing a kill, just got to damage.
Is there a way to bypass the lockout timer?

If you wanna really see some damage mix this with Rapid-fire ranger and Monochromatic Maestro from the artifact. An arc hunter with thunderlord, gsthering storm and a couple of surge mods becomes a god slayer.

So whats the damage difference between the adept and non adept?
Adept weapons get slightly better stats in every column when masterworked, and they get access to adept mods. Letting you add 10 to any stat of your choosing. Basically adepts have better stats. Thats it. They get all the same perks as the normal versions.

seriously, I have like 25 in vault, not 1 has Vorpal.. Its like Loaded Question, I kepted getting Demo fucking Pugalist but finally got Auto Controlled with arrowhead and accelerated

Aztecross made a video on Lucky Pants dps, Wardens is uncontested winner (yes even over Malfeasance), plus doesn’t use exotic slot, and with devour, void builds have negative need for external healing.

Been having a ton of fun on Stasis again combining Ex Diris dipping into amplified whenever I prep to use the pants buff. I’m really excited to see the changes to Stasis Bungie has in store and I can only imagine how much fun this will be when we get a Void or Solar variant will be with more subclass synergy. The archetype is a ton of fun even without the pants and I’m excited to see what they come up with. New archetypes are really the most fun form of sunsetting we’re going to get haha.

There is a big problem with this build. The buff doesnt proc everytime like intended. On the new witchqueen handcannon it didnt even proce once as i played yesterday.
The "buff" was stated left but it didnt increase damage and the timer goes off.
Am i the ONLY one with this issue?
I have the wardens god roll but it also has the problem that it sometimes just dont work - very annoying as timing is key.
When I started using Lucky Pants, I had the same issue and it almost put me off from using them
Then I realized it was happening because my hand cannon wasn’t fully reloaded when I swapped to it for dps
I switched to marksman’s dodge for my build so after I do my damage, I dodge, swap weapons, wait for Out of Luck timer to go away & repeat as necessary
Hope this helps you out! Lucky Pants are such an amazing exotic, I just started using them this season (I’ve been playing since D2’s release) & they’re easily in my top 5 😎👌
