Wonderful video. Thank you so much. We bought some buckwheat that was not hulled by mistake. We almost threw them out but now we decided to grow them into microgreens. Eva
I want to suggest ONE more step in the growing process... If you have an opportunity to put the tray into the SUNSHINE (also keeping an eye on them as to prevent the soil from drying out) the stems will turn a beautiful dark color of ruby red. Mother nature is giving an amazing amount of bio flavanoids in the form of RUTIN for this last stage of the growing process. Along with all the other amazingly healthy properties of these greens, this last one has the attributes to simultaneously strengthen and cleanse the circulatory system. Happy growing.
Hi Butterflyneverlands , These are whole Buckwheat sprouting seeds with the shell. Perhaps what you're using is Buckwheat Groats which are white. Those are great for dehydrated foods and some drinks as well. Cheers, Bliss.
Hi SuLebo215 and thank you for your honest and constructive feedback. I really appreciate it. I'm working on improving my video quality including the audio. I hope you find the newer videos to be of better audio quality. Cheers, Bliss.
Personally, I find background music very annoying, especially when someone is talking. I often turn off the audio and just read the captions (and hope they're close to accurate).
If a baby diaper is placed under the draining seeds the drainage is enhanced. Please post your source for buckwheat seeds. Oh now I see your link, thanks.
The sound quality on this video is terrible! I suggest you kill the background music, it's difficult to understand your English without added interference. It's a pity because the content is very informative
oh, c'mon, Deedee, it's not that hard... besides, the soil provides a whole bunch of nutrients worth feeding the plant. But I like hydroponic methods too. Cheers, Bliss.

Would it work in winter inside a house?
Perhaps if you have good air flow (which you probably won’t have) but I would highly advise growing just sprouts and no Microgreens.
I want common buckwheat seeds for home garden Tanq
I got Bob's red mill Buckwheat, hasn't sprouted yet, they were white in color, is there a difference?
The sound without hull, are they?
@@eatingSprouts Yes! I actually ordered online Buckwheat sprouting organic seeds!!!!
Really nice! Can the husk be harvested for more microgreens?
Hi.
Not really.
Great video! 170gr for a 10*10 tray? Isn't that too much?
Hi,
yes, it will fill it up... you can do less than that.
:-)
Cheers,
Bliss.

Can you re-use the soil?
Hi Joetta,
No, you can't re-use the soil to grow.
But you can use it for the compost; it's a great addition.
Cheers,
Bliss.
@@eatingSprouts Thank you! I've got my seeds soaked and am starting the rinsing days.
@@dreamhousehunting Wonderful. Happy for you.

Over 1 pound
Great video, Bliss, though I struggled to maintain focus with the desperate musical background!
Noted!
The raw organic buckwheat I get is light in color. What kind of buckwheat is that?

eating Sprouts It makes total sense. TY so much!
Nice presentation but I'd prefer no background music and your microphone makes you sound like you're down a long tunnel and not very clear.

the music is so quiet I can hardly hear it. Agree though the vocals sound a bit muffled. good vid!

People should grow a few plants or a plot of plants (even better) to save the seeds.

Thanks for the tip. I love to learn new things.
