Panned? I'm sure it will be. The overtake, when it happens, is OK, though he could of got a nice nearside view just before (as you did). What concerns me is the searching for the overtake on the road towards the RAB. Too close to the vehicle he wants to overtake for too long and too close to offside traffic. Your thoughts?
His following distance looked quite close to me and he was a little bit near the centre white line for my liking. I was nervous for him just watching that 😬
bts jimin I agree.. He was trying too hard, probably kicking himself and better under normal circumstances.. But he passed too close to too many cars, no safety bubble.. I also think the overtake didn't have a clear shoulder check as he pull into the outside lane and barely got into the outside lane before accelerating forward.. He had time for that as there wasn't anything coming towards him..
I thought that was a bad bit of riding.. The guy was sitting in the middle lane constantly with traffic passing in the opposite direction.. In my opinion he should have been position 2 and dropped back to get the view, only going for a look when it was clear.. Yes I'm RoSPA advanced so can have an opinion.. This is just my 2 cents worth.. Your riding was cool, safe distance and great positioning..
Nicely done!!
