2,000 USD will give you about 60,000 baht, divided by 7 days gives you approximately 8,500 baht per day. I think that would be enough depending on your lifestyle, excluding flight and hotel. If you are someone who likes to party you can go through 8,500 super quick but if you are a chill traveler who likes to relax at the beach and go scuba diving than 8,500 baht per day will be more than enough

Depends on where your home country is. The USD is about 31 baht at this moment in time. The baht sometimes is $1=28 baht all the way to $1=35 baht. The baht at this time is pretty strong compared to the past.
