For me the Ginger and Daisy are top tier. That second gen Roxanne was ideal too. I didn't like the Arrow much for that deep concave and the weird front W bump. But the Ginger construction was similar to that of the Earthwing NLS with the crush welded carbon. It's a big board but it skates like it's smaller. The second gen Lacey had insane foot destroying rear W I recall. Fun fact: The Daisy is what Byron was riding before going to Powell, and his pro model likely drew inspiration from it.
@@hopscotch6596For real it was really in its element there. I'm trying to get to that area in October for that big event I've heard about, can't recall the hill it's on though.
sector 9 bomber is top tier bud, the w in the front is only at the very front, there is a flat section for your front foot farther back, the w in the back is very comfortable. Im still riding my 2014 bomber that i got in 2016, with a 48/33 split on 150 mm hangars on its shortest 24 in wheelbase. Im planning on taking it to maryhill this year, its just a tank, none of my other boards have held up as well. It would be great to see companies make boards like these that arent 500+ dollar descent decks.
@@skyleradcock1175 true on the durability. Only boards I’ve seen as strong as dhd is pantheon and rolling tree. Tanks. What’s the purpose of that front W? Like a footstop?
@@hopscotch6596 Yes the front w is kind of a wack front foot stop, it works(poorly), but on its shortest wheelbase with baseplates that have shorter mounting options, you can get right on the front truck- on the flat section- with a footstop.-avoiding the lovely failed invention that is front w. and thats why i love my bomber , its perfectly imperfect. im Honestly a huge fan of its rear extreme W, and its flat- no camber- no rocker mold. its taken me from where in 2016 i started DH to going to maryhill this year!
I'm real late here, but I messaged S9 on insta a while ago and they're relaunching their DH line this spring. You may have seen posting about it by this point
Kind of a weird choice. I just watched a video on the bomber and learned those three boards have three super thick ply's of maple instead of thin ones. Never seen something like that
Really enjoy your content bro!
@@MrSubZer05 thanks buddy 🙏

Daisy and Roxanne are top tier imo

little fun fact on the daisy concave, it was based on the mini/super shaka mold
@@raealcoriza2549 Shaka is such a good og freeride deck

the W on the bomber is so intense
