Only an incredible legendary manager can score 92,97 and 99 points in the premier league. Because getting to these point totals all depends on YOU winning games that YOU are in control of.. Winning league titles half depends on OTHER teams dropping points in games which you got NOTHING to do with.

There is a misconception about Jurgen Klopp’s time at Liverpool and some think that it’s a failure. In the next couple of years, many people will look back and reminisce about his time at Liverpool and bring up the fact that he won 1 PL title in 9 years and for an elite manager it’s not enough on paper, but we have to look at more than just trophies when we wanna evaluate the impact a manager has on a team.
When it comes to rebuilding teams there’s no better manager at doing that than Klopp. We’ve seen him have success at clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Mainz despite being on a shoestring budget. It’s been the same story for him at Liverpool and he managed to turn them back into an elite club. You look at it in the last 7 years Manchester City are about to win 6 league titles and we live in a world where they would’ve had 7 league titles in 7 years had it not been for Klopp’s Liverpool. They managed to win their first league title in 30 years against one of the greatest teams we’ve ever seen who are on an unlimited budget. From a tactical perspective, he’s different from someone like Pep Guardiola, but you can’t deny Klopp’s greatness even if he doesn’t have enough trophies on his resume. They also won the Champions League as well and on 2 different occasions lost the title by a point to City and at times they were in the hunt to win a quadruple. I don’t know why people think that the amount of trophies is the sole way to judge the ability of a manager. He missed out on some trophies he’s simply because of Manchester City’s dominance and Real Madrid being a thorn in their side and while history only remembers the winners, that shouldn’t take anything away from Klopp at Liverpool even though 1 league title in 9 years isn’t enough.

I guess only winning one title in 8 or 9 years probably isn’t good enough but two their season to miss out by a point or then two is unprecedented. Arsenal will probably feel that this season. Why I would say he is a premier league legend is because everyone wanted to watch his team ahead of others. Because they and he entertained. It’s biased I know but I’m in klopp mindset. Could have won more could have won less but if he wasn’t a great manager people wouldn’t watch. Peel preferred to watch LFC over City or Utd a Chelsea’s because they entertained. Besides from titles that’s why is a legend because everyone wanted him and watched

Some people say Pep is the best manager in the world and some even say he's the best manager in the history of football but my view will always be that he cannot be regarded that highly until he overachieves at a club.
Given what he's had to work with, I don't think you can say Pep overachieved at Barca, Bayern and City.
Klopp hasn't won as many titles and cups as Pep has but given who he was up against whilst managing Liverpool and Dortmund, I think winning the number of titles and cups he has, getting to the amount of finals he has and getting the amount of points he has is at the very least as good an achievement as anything Pep has done.

As though Klopp would care a jot. Legendary status is the least of his interests I would argue. Klopp and his team lifted a club that was on its knees, the mood around the place and beyond. That counts enormously. You can keep your legendary status, while we keep our icon.

Jordan mentions Guardiola, of course it needs a skilled manager to win things, however City won their 1st PL Roberto Mancini, Pellegrini RU, Pep 6 titles, 2 seconds....all of this by sports doping, paying and aquiring the best players while circumnavigating the system.
Without it City would be langushing like Wolves or Notts Forest.

I'm ♡Albion fan, Reds spent 3 times less than ManU/Chelsea in Klopps era. ManC built on 115 FFP crimes.
Without that cash doping, Pep wud not have the best squad in the world & still lost to Real Madrid & England Skipper Jude B. (As per daily mail sports pages & Sky Sports S.Warnock)
When Fergie was boss, ManU was the richest club in the world.
Klopp won titles & cups with a moderate budget. He literally won a cup with 7 - 10 kop kids aged 21 & under, (as per SkySports & Kelly Cates & Melissa Reddy & Stephen Warnock ) during a huge injury crisis in 2024. No boss has done that before vs a hugely expensive Chelsea team.
Clough & Sir Alf won on tiny small club budgets.
    Compare gold to gold, not
    Gold to iron.
Both are metals but not worth the same.
When comparing bosses or teams, use golf type handicaps please.
Cuz In soccer budgets matter more than coaching, its a very unfair sport. But fans become fans as kids & don't understand it as kids.
When they grow up they can't stop supporting their little clubs, who will never be UCL winners.
So they make the Reds thier co-favourite club. But Why LFC & not ManC?
    Well...
1 To honour the Hillsborough 99 (or 97 or 96 depending on which way the tragic deaths were counted)
2 Anfield is most magical field in all sports ask Rio F of ManU etc
3 Only club to have 4 legendary bosses in Shankley - Paisley - Sir
Kenny - Klopp. Only club were fans love bosses more than players.
At the end of the day who stirs ur passions more?
Who makes ur heart beat faster?
Is it the above average looking woman wearing very expensive make up & clothes?
Or do prefer the natural beauty who looks gorgeous with no make up?
Do u prefer Maryln Monroe & Mila Kunis in thier pomp (Liverpool FC type beauties)
    or
Viola Davis & Zendaya (ManC type women)?
All 4 are top actresses but who stirs ur passions.
Do u prefer the wild heart pumping passion of Klopps teams or the cold methodical death by a 1000 cuts of Peps teams?
    Klopp is Shankley 2.0
Arne Slot is the next Paisley 2.0
WBA Albion are my local club who i love a lot, but its the reds who stir my passions.
1 UCL win = 10 premier league titles
    1 EPL title = 5 FA Cups
1 FA Cup = 5 of any other cups
As per the Prof Haq maths formula on the B'ham University web site.
Im glad Jurgen took semi - retirement as his health matters to all reds & small club fans from Liverpool to Amritsar & from West Bromwich to L.A & from Berlin to Buenos Aires. Quickly Get healthier Jurgen as u will win the world cup with England soon.

This season the squad he had available was a mid table squad - he got the best out of them and no other manager in the league could of done that (my opinion). Is he a legend? He is my legend. If we are going on legends whats the benchmark for premier league? I would argue I Aston Villa won a premier league that would make Emery a legend! Pep winning premier leagues with Man City....??? I know what Simon's saying rubs off on in the wrong way, but when you look at it as a whole you'll see he's got a point. I do believe people are looking at Klopp's achievements too emotionally, yes there's no doubt he's done incredible things at Liverpool winning all the important trophies for them during his tenure but in order for him to a be a true PL legend he would have needed to win a few more PL's, one more CL/EL and maybe some FA Cups as well. He'll defo go down as one of the most iconic/respected managers of the Premier League.
The standards are so high, like when we're talking about the elite we're talking about Ferguson, Guardiola, Mourinho and Wenger, managers who have won multiple PL titles amongst other cups, with all due respect to Ranieri (especially for Leicester's title), Ancelotti and Conte who all did great in the PL as well. Klopp for me sits just below Wenger, if Klopp had won another PL title this season alongside a EL then that would have been up for debate going 50-50, with people putting the preference of Klopp over Wenger due to being more successful in Europe, then for Wenger over Klopp for boasting an Invincible side and more consistency. But of course, we all know that he'll leave as a Liverpool legend and an amazing manager/representative of the PL that will forever be iconic and never be forgotten.

It goes beyond the mere stats of 1 League title. It's how he did it and what he brought to the premiership.
In the 2 other seasons he finished second, he got more points in any of fergies title winning seasons. That's something.

No because simply they won more titles and they are above in success but premier league is also about legacy they left with the teams they left behind, title races and moments and Klopp has provided that with his teams and off pitch throughout his tenure. Put it this way, Steven Gerrard is regarded by many to be a premier league legend and get in an all time Premier League 11 but he has never won it!! So is he not a EPL legend?
