i have a question. I dont understand how multi-frame can be put in one picture. Normally, a 3d lenticular picture just has two frames only. And in each lens on the sheet helps to separate those frames for left and right eyes. So how does multi-frame work exactly?
Hi Cuong Nguyen Duc, I understand where you are coming from. You’re getting confused with the 3D glasses that we use to watch movies with the lenticular picture. We see lenticular picture with our naked eyes and No 3D glasses are required as a thin sheet of glass(lens) is attached on top of the lenticular image. So, a lenticular picture comes with its 3D glasses(lens) built in. The lenticular image is electronically generated by a particular computer software. To get to the final image that is printed at the back of the sheet of lens, many different images are interlaced by using lenticular imaging software. To watch what “interlacing” mean…. @@saatviklathascienceart6576 ok thanks I understand it a bit more. But I don't understand why we see in different angles of a lenticular picture, it became different pictures like flip effect. I thought with the small image we can see any point on the image right? or some points on the image are blocked light so we can't see except we change the angle of view.
@@cuongnguyenuc1776 The idea is to see different pictures in different angles that appear magically as you pass by a big lenticular poster or by just turning your head from left to right to see a small lenticular picture. So a number of primitive images are chosen and so does the sheet of lens with the specific measurements with the specific angles to showcase the changing pictures.
@@saatviklathascienceart6576 thanks. I see here why i get confused here, so 3d effect means two eyes have to see two frames, and animation means two eyes need to see the same frame at one angle.
Hi Elite Zada I’m fine thank you! I didn’t use any lenticular sheet for my 2-in-1 photo. The 4 season flip picture is Amazon bought and the link is in the description below. You can find different kinds of lenticular sheets in amazon as well.
No we have to get it done by professionals from lenticular printing studios. It needs specific software and equipment as far as I know. They can well recommend the specificities and the precise measurements needed for the project with their experience.
Since school is out for the COVID-19, we are homeschooling. Today is science day! We love your video, good job explaining everything. We are going to make a lenticular later today just like yours (but with an x-wing and tie fighter!) My son thinks you are super cool, we look forward to watching more of your videos.
Heidi Ring Wow your comment is a KILLER! I’m flattered! So inspiring! Yes I’m emboldened now with your encouragement! Coming up with more videos soon! Thank you!
Hi Gifted Athletes Thank you! With 2 images just like we did. More than 2 images you need to get it done with a professional who can make Lenticular photos in your place. They use specific software to print the image on the back of the lens. They custom design it for you, with the all the specificities you wish for.
