    Thank you for this really honest and helpful review. I “won” this from a Picky giveaway (if you win the giveaway you agree to do a review) and it came late so I haven’t really gotten to use the product yet & give my review. I have sensitive skin and I don’t love that it has fragrance & I do wish it was cruelty free (especially since so many competitors are cruelty free, fragrance free & even vegan friendly) as well. I’m worried my skin is going to react to it, but we’ll see. You did an amazing job at explaining & giving updates. I felt I could see a different in your skin. ❤

      i am going to post an update video in a short-form video soon! :) i hate that they included fragrance as well! thank you so much for your nice comment and sharing your experience with it! :)

      @@alexgreysonskin You’re welcome Alex 🙂 I really did see a difference (not different 😅) in your skin, and it’s glowing. I honestly hate it has fragrance as well… like why add it!? Especially since Retinol doesn’t have fragrance in it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I subscribed so I’ll be looking forward to your review ❤️ I hope you had an amazing holiday ( if you celebrate) and a happy new year 🎊
      What brand did you say you would recommend for those sensitive skin? Thanks 😊

    The fragrance reminds me of other products that also contains bakuchiol

    I think that bc it’s so low and gentle the fragrance doesn’t sensitize my skin that much.

    I love Somebymi! I've been using this product for almost 2 years now and have never experienced any sensitivity. I'm 33 years old and have been getting compliments from people I haven't seen in a while, saying I look younger versus my 28 year old self 😆 I love it so much, I've been recommending it to everyone haha

    I bet isotretinoin treatment would the best one for you ( I did).

      not everyone will react well to isotretinoin, I was crying everyday while taking it so it's not an option for me :/

    Who is sensitive to fragrance

    • @alexgreysonskin
      @alexgreysonskin  7 месяцев назад +2

      people with sensitive skin and other skin concerns can often be sensitive to essential oils and fragrance in skincare products! it just depends on different skin types! :)

    how is it so effective if the percentages are so low?

    • @rhileynnna
      @rhileynnna 7 месяцев назад +21

      The low percentage makes it a great beginner retinol or for people with sensitive skin (minus the fragrance). Consistency over intensity.

    • @juhnetmickerdy
      @juhnetmickerdy 7 месяцев назад +13

      Higher percentage is a greater risk of irritation and a lower percentage does not mean it’s ineffective people assume wrong. It depends on the overall formulation, and there’s also ingredients in there that can boost its efficacy.

    • @slimyyyy565
      @slimyyyy565 7 месяцев назад

      @@juhnetmickerdyi feel like incorporating very gentle skincare ingredients is so fake that you can get the same result with just using your moisturisers anyway. Except salicylic acid for oil control.

    • @iqqy86

      It has retinal in it as well. Retinal is more effective/"intense" than retinol
