My buddy has Omnisphere and it's just too much for me. It's like going to an ice cream shop knowing you want chocolate and Omnisphere has mango chocolate, honey choc, strawberry choc, marshmallow choc, coffee choc etc and then 43 minutes later you're still standing in line looking up at the menu trying to decide. For me I'd rather go to the spot that just has regular and mint chocolate, make my choice quickly and move forward, you know?
@@ovafacts9296 I usually use Serum if I already know what kind of sound i'm looking for and Kontakt libraries since most of what I make is with instruments.
Completely agree dude. I don't have the patience to flip through untold numbers of presets looking for the perfect sound. I just find something that works and go with it. You can always change it later. But I can't compose a track while spending 3 hours picking each sound.
Strange way of looking at it. I see it like a room full of hot women, your never going to bed them all in one night, but you know you have the option if you want to!😉
I love Omnisphere. I think a cool upgrade at this point would be skins. Could we get custom skins? I would love to tweak the colors and maybe a photo overlay onto the interface. Visual options are important and I think that would be a good addition to this. Also someone mentioned the overwhelming library, so maybe a feature to further simplify by creating something like Instruments. Great video!
Omnisphere is literally THE best Synth/sampler ever made honestly, as a professional composer/sound designer, it's a dream to use. The presets are great, but creating original sounds combining samples/found sounds and moulding them with the synth engine is just beyond epic.
External SSDs are not all made equal. The transfer speeds vary a lot. You get the fastest external SSDs by buying an M.2 SSD which is made to put into a PC, and a fast external case (USB-C and/or Thunderbolt). Putting the SSD into a case is not rocket science. My mom could do it. The result is multiple times faster than the ready made external SSDs on the market. There are youtube videos on the topic. And you can of course format a new drive to the native format of your OS (on Mac OS that is APFS).
It’s alright, most of the sounds are literally just synths but most of them are unusable to me as they all sound either the same or jus wasn’t my taste in my personal opinion
wow i didn't realize how many sounds omnisphere had this would be a godsend for me im interested in a lot of genres but what's jumping out to me is how many of these would be great for making layered pads for dnb
Thanks for this cool clip. For me it‘s best with the content of Omnisphere. It would be cool if you will making clips about your personal sounddesign 😍
Record the midi with the plug-in and then… wait for it…. Freeze and flatten it to audio, then use it in your project. If you are writing tracks and not bouncing your tracks to audio and leaving a ton of plugins running…. You’re doing it wrong.
Wow, what an incredibly thorough software review! 🙌 Thank you so much, Busy Works Beats, for taking the time to create this detailed and comprehensive overview. Your insights were invaluable in helping me understand the functionality and features of this software. I appreciate the effort you put into breaking down every aspect and providing real-life examples of its usage. Keep up the fantastic work, and I'm definitely looking forward to more insightful content from your channel. Subscribed and grateful for your dedication!💯👍

You really have to use proper terminology when talking about "space' on your computer, you mean storage, the Omnisphere application takes up 6.5 MB of space on your internal drive very small footprint, storage can be purchased at pretty low cost so that is not really an issue. The library can be stored and accessed from an external drive which should be a major component for anyone venturing into the realm of large library Plugins and Sound suites. Never keep large libraries on your main drive. "the kind that I buy isn't formatted that way" As a guy who touts himself as being so heavy in the game, that seems kind of, how should I say it, counter productive and shows you didn't research what you were buying. "uses a lotta lotta space" Smdh.
@@LIQVIBEATS there is documentation with the plug in that walks you through storing it on an external drive, it is actually recommended by the manufacturer, you just want to make sure you are using a fast drive. Something with thunderbolt connectivity is the way.
