I saw Bruce in 2012! I travelled out to St. Paul, Minnesota to see him! I am on the Verified list on Ticketmaster for his Vancouver show this November, so I hopefully will be seeing him again this fall!
I've seen Bruce in concert exactly 100 times and after a long 7 year wait, number 101 will finally happen on March 12th followed by 6 more shows through April 14th bringing my total to 107. Absolutely best live performer in the history of music. Glad you guys loved it!
100 fucking times that's something. They should invite you on stage and commend you 🤠 You got all the ticket stubs by kind of like bulletin board or scrapbook all displayed? Be nice you must have some clout for these new ones or else you're rich with those ticket prices💰💰💰
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist I've never thrown any stubs away but don't have them all in the same place. First show I ever saw had a 15.00 face value but paid a scalper 75.
Bruce Springsteen is one of your fav artists..huge respect for that ❤. Have always admired him and his music and am a big fan myself. What about a review of the album Nebraska?..pure awesomeness!!
Just saw The E Street Band in Tulsa. The Man did NOT stop, 3 solid hours! The arena was not sold out (are you freaking kidding me??), but he played his heart out, track after track, no breaks. Thanks to brother for the ticket!
@@ReactionsToTheClassics nah, work LOL ... too bad, they were giving tix away. Ridiculous, this town. People came from Europe and Australia, locals wouldn't go down the street for near free world class show!
Nothing like a Bruce show. I honestly (and hopefully) think he will never stop performing, he's said so many times how he lives for it. Even if he ends up playing solo or with a small Band like Bob Dylan or his own 2005 tour.
I'm thrilled you guys got to see Springsteen live. Sounds like a fantastic show with a killer setlist. Kitty's Back was made for live performances. It allows the band to shine and rock the house. Thanks for relaying your thoughts.
The show was INCREDIBLE! Springsteen is my favorite artist. I have been to lots of concerts but never seen any shows as good as the ones Bruce puts on. Honestly, I went in with lowered expectations, (he's 73!) and I was blown away. I've seen Bruce many times and nothing compare to 1978, but I believe this ranks just behind 1978. The inclusion of Candy's Room, Prove It All Night, an amazing old-school, fusion-jazz Kitty's Back and Detroit Medley just "left me spinning". If the show had ended after an hour I would not have felt cheated. Fortunately the show clocked in without any breaks at around 2 hrs 40 mins The acoustics were excellent considering where we were seated but wow was this loud (and I like loud music). Bruce's guitar work on Candy's Room and Prove It All Night (I was hoping for 1978 version) was amazing. It was disappointing that Steve was absent and the show had some awkward moments cause no one was ready to fill Steve's boots; most notable were Out in the Street and Glory Days (Bruce actually said "someone take the solo"). I have seriously looked into Houston and Tulsa but the show will be essentially the same - unless Steve returns to the stage. Obviously, this was an extraordinary night for me and I am waiting for the recording to be released on Nugs any day. Go see this tour if you love music.
I watched a couple of recordings on YT of the concert and it looked immense - so glad he had Thunder Road in the playlist (I saw in a few previous shows it was excluded!). Really happy for you guys finally getting to see him! :)
I got to go the Denver show at literally the last minute! A guy I work with bought 2 tickets and this morning he decided he didn’t want to go so I got the tix 2 for the price of one. The tickets were in the 2nd to last row at the top and we were behind the stage so they were kinda ants but that hardly mattered, the music was outstanding! Johnny 99 with full band was blazing and the speech he gave before Last Man Standing was touching and gave the song even more weight. Miami Steve was there and rocked out and the band was on fire. Thunder Road was all I could hope for but the surprise of the set for me was the E street Shuffle played much like the album version which I never thought I’d hear live. Kittys back was great too. The whole show was killer.
Exactly! I couldn’t believe how hard they rocked and killed it all night (killed it all night… there’s nothing else that we can do). Bad joke. Anyway yeah I couldn’t believe I was there! I did bite the bullet and get a shirt, I really wanted the hoodie but $95 was just too much for me. Interesting about being able to download the show, I had no idea and will definitely have to do that! I think it’s time you did another Bright Eyes/ Conor Oberst reaction, his lyricism is bar none and I need some Shawn interpretations In my life! I could only do the dollar a month Patreon at the moment but I’ll bump it up soon! Have a good day guys!!
Yes I can't believe I had never seen Bruce, I am old lol he has been in my life since 1984! I bought the shirt too, merch was sky high for sure! Actually just finished filming a Bright Eyes earlier today, The People's Key. I have Cassadaga going up next week though!

I can't imagine how much ticketmaster charged you. And that sucks that you missed Little Stevie. Last time I saw Bruce was a year or two after The Rising tour and it was just incredible.
Yes, I paid a lot. Yes, Ticketmaster sucks. However I was committed to seeing one more Bruce concert and I so appreciated the opportunity to see the show and it was truly a good value if you consider the cost to see a Broadway show
Seen Bruce 24 times since 1985. If you think he is brilliant now you should have seen him back then. The greatest live performer I have ever seen as well as the best songwriter.

This repeated setlist is typically not like Bruce. He usually changes the setlist a lot every night. On back to back shows, I've seen him change at least half the songs. Maybe he's waiting to get his legs under him after being off for so long before he makes it much more varied. He can't use the excuse of not remembering the lyrics as he has been using a teleprompter for many years now.
@@blade3184 I think Bruce is making sure the band has these songs nailed down - they've been away for a long time. I think he will deviate more further into the tour - sites track his sound check sessions which usually give a clue to new songs coming. For me, this show was perfect!
