My brother in law gave me a mature 5 yr old concord vine . It’s July and it pretty large with grapes all over it. I had to get it out of there now. My question is can I get away with not pruning it back if I took the time to dig up the entire root system (which I did). I don’t know a whole lot about growing grapes yet . I really don’t want to cut it down to next to nothing if I don’t have to but I also don’t want to kill it. I have the whole thing in my back yard now soaking the roots in my yard pond for the night. Gonna bury the roots in the morning. Let me know your thoughts on what I should do please. Also I case it matters I am in Ohio. It’s summer so doubt that matters lol
