I think your third point tie into another really important aspect: write great characters! I always write a biography about my characters before I start writing, make them as real and as personal to me as I can. That way they (hopefully) feel real and personal when I go to write my screenplay. You said it well at the end, we are writing about human beings in all their complexity, desires and insecurities and it needs to come across on the page or else nobody will care about the story you are telling

This is not only very insightful on what is to consider in writing screenplays, no it also spits facts rather than experiences, and encourages instead of demoting by telling people what they did was wrong. Thank you so much for the tips! But one thing I noticed that you didn't talk about was planning too far ahead, and this doesn't just apply to screenplays, but novels, novellas, theater scripts, poems, anything! If you plan the entire story before writing it down then you actually have a chance of developing writers block which is caused by creative stress, or you end up making something lack luster because you wrote one part only to go to the next, which is why many current MCU projects aren't as good as they could be, because all of it is just meant to lead to the ultimate team-up movie that Kevin Feigi already announced: "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty!" Thanos was only included in the post credits scene of "Marvel's The Avengers" because the director wanted him to be the big bad controlling Loki. He wasn't originally intended to be the main antagonist of the entire Infinity Saga. It wasn't even the Infinity Saga yet because the writers didn't really know where to take the story yet, only starting to set up the Infinity Stones at the end of "Thor: The Dark World." Actually they didn't even decide on why Thanos wanted the Stones in the first place until shortly after writing the script for "Avengers: Infinity War." It's good to have a general idea of where your story is going, but 95% of what you're writing is usually improvised. My best works I started writing the day I came up with them.

I'm currently working on a crime drama tv series called "takeover"
    SYNOPSIS:
Draymond is fearless and power driven, he seeks to avoid violence at all costs, but trouble always manage to follow him, until he meets a charming beautiful woman who hopes to change him.
    PLOT:
The episode starts with draymond "Dray" Hendrix in his apartment, sitting in the living room, playing call of duty, using his headset and trash-talking the online players.

This was very good advice overall and I came to this because I want to create RUclips videos now, the content I plan to make essentially is a thesis with backed up evidence. I figured writing a script would be essential to structure the informative aspect of it but I also plan to add my own taste to this as well. The next thing I plan to do is adding visuals to make my video stand out. Overall, I really appreciate content creators like yourself who provide a general yet precise overview of writing.

Well thanks for all the advice. I have a lot of ideas for movies.
One idea for a movie was based on characters from the movie "Spring Breakers". That movie and more importantly the theme of that movie, was quite thought provoking, Even more interesting was the fact that two character in that movie, (Candy played by Vanessa Hudgens and Brit played by Ashley Benson), seemed to be of one mind. Their moral compass was shocking, especially for women, and drastically different from another character, Faith played by Selena Gomez. In short, Candy and Brit, were as much predators, as any male rapist in prison. Candy and Brit never argued and often seemed to communicate telepathically in Spring Breakers. So I came up with an idea with Candy, Brit and Faith, which delves pretty deep into some philosophical, justice, theological and moral issues. I called this movie, "She Died for Nothing".
I have not put this movie on paper, and wonder if I would ever get the chance, since they are characters of someone else's movie.

@cinema_Danny I can not determine that you did this from what you wrote, so,
I would begin with the END in mind.
What is the ending like? Why is your ending great? What great point will your ending make to the audience? Does the ending point to something Good that the audience should have known all along, but, may have lost sight of . (Many terrific movies have this in common.) Considering the great point that you are making with the ending of your story, how do these scenes tie together with that point? I would assume that, as in most great movies, somehow, something happens in this story that makes the ending, improbable, or maybe even close to impossible. If so, how does that get resolved, so that you bring the audience to your great ending?
Just based on points that you made about the scenes above, I need to ask, will this story make the audience believe in something that they would not normally believe in? (Magic or other world experiences, afterlife?)
      I hope this helps.

I really tried to understand what you're saying about writing scripts, but it is very hard for me. Cause I was thinking of writing a series in my head, but I don't know how to make it interesting like, what action the character is doing, what personality does the character have, and how to write an interesting story. See my idea was, there was a human who is adopted by an anthropomorphic Lion family in another world or universe. Then he was wondering or wants to know why is he different, is he like some kind of ape or monkey? Then he went to see the wise and smart Baboon so that he can learn what kind of animal he is, then a powerful spirit spoke to him to tell him that he is a human being born from an alternate universe. The Baboon also told him that there are an infinite number of universe. I would like to say the rest of the story, but I just don't have any other ideas for it.

Few days ago I watched the movie "Kiss the girls".
to be honest, it's a very bad movie, with a very mediocre script.
One asks himself, how so mediocre script like this did to the big screen.
And the answer is that your screenplay can be great but if you don't know anyone inside the business, more likely your screenplay it's not going to reach the Big screen.
Also the mediocre screenwriters who are already inside the Industry aren't going to talk to others about your script, just for fear or envy that you can take their place

99.9% is the reason why there hasn't been a good movie in 35 years. If it isn't hero, comic book or bloody it isn't made. CRAP.

Like now we wonder if this is helpful content, or a fancy commercial… or - plot twist- both!
