Wow!! Once again I really loved your Scarlatti,it gave me joy and it made my day! Brava!!
May I dare to ask you why you call yourself "amateur pianist"?
You have everything to be called a professional pianist, and it's not just a compliment,it's the truth!!
Amateur (or "dilettante",in Italian) wasn't a bad word at all during Scarlatti times,it had to do with "amour" and "diletto",that is love and pleasure! Amateur was somebody who played not for money, but just for passion and love of music.
Nowadays the old (and right) meaning of the word has changed,unfortunately... "amateur" is now somebody who plays mostly for him/herself,not having the right to perform on stage. According to this modern sense of the word,an amateur has not the required musical-technical equipment to turn music-making into a profession, and to make a living out of it.
This is not your case at all,you play really beautifully, with variety of touch and dynamics, and technically perfect! You should allow yourself to perform even the more virtuoso sonatas by Scarlatti,in my humble opinion you have all the resources to do it! Just launch yourself into the music and fly, don't think about wrong notes or little mistakes...those things happen even to the greatest musicians,we are all human after all!!
    Many greetings from Italy!
    Sergio

      I'm really just an amateur.
I live in Tokyo, work as a doctor, and have been battling COVID-19, especially for the last two years. So I don't have much time to play the piano.
But little by little, I think this pandemic will end.
I haven't been to Italy yet. I definitely want to go there someday!

Wow!!! I admire you even more, now that I know that your "real" profession is doctor! You doctors have been the real HEROES during the pandemic,I have the greatest respect and admiration for you all!
It would be so nice if you would come to Italy, you would love it! Even if Italian people are now facing big problems (a huge energetic and financial crisis, which has reduced 1 third of the population in poverty),Italy is still a wonderful place,I could never leave it,although it's not easy living and working here.
      Many many greetings!!
      Sergio

Wonderful! What's your story about playing both piano and harpsichord professionally?
