I had a 2018 Kicks which I traded for a used 2022 last year. I love the original design, though it had a few things I wished were better. The 2025 model seems to have ticked all of those boxes though. I saw one in person yesterday and my first impression was that it looks much bigger than the original model. I'm guessing that's a plus but I had no issues with the older model's size. I like that the Bose headrest speakers are on both front seats now rather then just the driver's side. The flat cargo area with hidden storage is a nice touch as well. The AWD option is a nice improvement too. I hope it doesn't hurt the mileage too much. I took a long leisurely drive in my 2022 today and got over 38MPG! The one quibble I had on mine was that the painted markings wore off on the steering wheel buttons. My 2018 buttons were mostly white plastic by the time I traded it. The cruise control is really good so I normally only use those buttons to control my speed. that puts a lot of wear on them. On my 2022 Kicks I covered the buttons with some clear packing tape to protect them. It looks a bit odd, but at least they will remain painted. The 2025 model seems to have the same basic buttons so I expect they will have the same issue. I'd love to trade up if I can figure out how to afford it. I'm an older retired dude so I'm not exactly rich.
Our mechanic told us this beats the Chevy Trax to heck and he knows he'll be making money from Trax owners. I test drove the 2025 Kicks the other day and I love it. Now AWD is available. I'm definitely going to buy one ss its so Sporty and perfect size for me!!
Many Chevy Trax owners have reported various problems. The Nissan Kicks should be very reliable. The engine has been used in the Sentra for years and is just about bulletproof. Nissan's current CVTs have been improved and have been proving much more reliable than the old Jatcos. An added bonus if you choose the awd version is you also get an independent rear multilink suspension for better ride and handling.
We also produce this in Indonesia, it's called Mitsubishi Xforce and we export it to Americas, Africa, ASEAN and the Arabs. A tough multi-purpose car, at an affordable price, and a very attractive design.
Just remember anything with a turbo is less reliable because it creates extra heat inside the engine. You really have to be on top of your oil changes and no cheap oil.
Im concerned that these cars are arriving at dealers already and there isnt one legit review. My wife has been waiting, apparently nissan doesnt want a real review before people start buying these cars. Ive never seen this done by manufacturers on a new model, only reviews are done by nissan loyalist.
All the car companies do it. I've seen the new Chevy Equinox on the dealer lots a few days before the embargo was lifted. The Kicks embargo will probably be lifted by the end of the week.
You referring to the 2nd generation Kicks as one similar to the model that came out in 2019 that had slightly refreshed taillights, LED lights (SR), and reduced hp numbers (2019-21 was 125hp 115 lb-ft torque. 2022-24 was 122hp 114 lb-ft torque)? I still call it the first generation as that was a refresh. The new 2025 is the 2nd generation to me.
Then why are you watching this. Why criticize and be mean about his review style? He’s clearly a salesman and needs to entice his audience with all the good features of this vehicle. Y’all so quick to hate.
legit? lol. all the car reviewers are ur typical cnn!! look at car confectioners reviewing hyundai Santa fe even though their had transmission problems but still gave it a great review!!!
The Kicks no longer compete with the Trax. It's now a Trailblazer competitor. Many of you so-called enthusiasts forgot the subcompact CUV class is split into 2 groups: entry and premium. Entry CUVs are usually built to a price point that forego power and AWD for features and fuel economy. These vehicles are the Trax, Envista, Soul, and Venue. Some AWD CUVs fit in the category due to a car company having 2 AWD vehicles Outlander Sport/Eclipse Cross and Renegade/Compass.
The SR trim is the highest** trim level - this one also includes the Premium package with all the bells and whistles! 🤪
again please take time on your work
I never had an interest in the Kicks until now...this looks really good
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new design. I want one.
Our first one arrived yesterday, stop on in!
You did a great job on this video
No he didn’t, he didn’t even drive it!
I bought a 2020 SR new four years ago. Now it’s a perfect car for my youngest.
I just brought one. I love it!
👏🏾👏🏾💯💕👏🏾👏🏾
This New 2025 Nissan Kicks has *APPROVED* greatly, thanks!!!
Hoping the *KICKS* last for another 10 years in the making!! 🚙💨🙂

It looks so cools to me.
I will drive it and decide for myself.i know as much about what i like better than any salesman or so called experts.
Looks good

one thing nissan missed is power seat for driver..They could have done it on RS😢😢
I can see me buying one, it has lots of safety equipment and features.
You can trust Marlus Albergius, they say he really liked the car and has already reserved his! 1:09

Is it still series hybrid?
Nice nissan
2 things: Why didn't they add dual climate control in the SR since it has everything else? And how does the Bose system sound?
Sr is not the top trim?
Going to lease the kicks 2025 I have the 2023 rouge
Nissan Kicks es el mejor auto en relación precio-calidad-seguridad.
One mistake. The SR is the top line trim. The SV is the mid line trim, with the S being the base model.
I thought the SV was the mid tier?
It's a nice redesign, but I think the highest trim is missing a couple features especially it's going to cost more than $30k.
Nissan missed the boat, compared to Mazda’s smallest suv with 186 hp as a base engine and a turbo option of 250 hp. The kicks measly 141 hp is a joke.
I wonder if they will offer the 1.5T that’s in the Rogue later. SR-VC Turbo. That would definitely fix the problem.
Much better cross over than Honda H-RV or Chevrolet Trax due to the AWD and multi link rear suspension
I like this car. Nissan did a good job. More so than Toyota with the Rav4. Good job Nissan. Except I would prefer a 2.0 turbo.
Just remember anything with a turbo is less reliable because it creates extra heat inside the engine. You really have to be on top of your oil changes and no cheap oil.
Nissan has done it before as well as other car companies
yo the sr premium is the highest tier not mid tier
Not sure he knows what he’s talking about
He sucks. So is mid level.
Sv*
So they are going .... to JACK UP the price 😢
Too much emphasis on infotainment stereo Etc blah blah

@@JT-fq2bl What are you talking about...They are being sold already
Hope so. I was waiting for this new Kick. But not without a review done by a professional.
dealers already marking this up for no reason 😂
Third generation kicks
No

I wish Nissan can give these car 400 kilowatts and nismo versions 1.2.3.
3rd generation - please take time on your work
Top de linha só não gostei dessa plástico junto com a lanterna traseira
No power seats??? $30000..nope.
Thats unreal to not have power seats

I’ll wait until a legit car reviewer covers the kicks
I’ll wait a year for quality purposes.
Me too. This is the most childish and useless presentation I've ever watched. The entire sales pitch is Siri and luggage and blabla.
My next vehicle as far as power ugh! The kia k4. 141 horses and a cvt just won't do sorry
Then why are you watching this. Why criticize and be mean about his review style? He’s clearly a salesman and needs to entice his audience with all the good features of this vehicle. Y’all so quick to hate.
@_IIN01 we have rights to say what we want. Don't like it? Tough

Made in Mexico …good luck with quality
$30,000+ for a kicks 😂 I'd probably go with the Chevy Trax instead seems like better value for your money plus it's got more interior room.
Trax has a crappy engine made in China no nav and less safety features.plus gm is a really sht company.
@@jackeaker9192 who pays for nav anymore and on the safety features didn't see any difference.
30k with AWD , obviously less with FWD, Trax is not even available with AWD.

@@JT-fq2bl but doesn't the Kicks come in front wheel drive also?
Nissan partners with Mitsubishi just for "kicks," sorry- enough said. Toyota, Honda, Mazda or "bust."
I'll buy a golf cart,,
for 31 I can get a mazda cx50 that eat this one up
We just got the 2024 meridian, its fun to drive!
3만블 너무 가격이...

This Kicks kicks the MSRP up, failure in my book
