Little Eido is such a cute misguided character. There was a whole Halloween event where Eido’s misunderstanding of a human child’s scary story sends her and Crows ghost, Glint on a search for “The Headless Ones” a bunch of candy filled sentient pumpkin monsters. She also misreads Halloween as “The Halls Between” which she now believes is the place between our world and the spirit world.
Such a beautiful moment when Misraaks Son‘ed Spider in his own bar in front of his goons 💀🤣🤣🤣
Calling him by his Government Name and everything 🤣🤣
This is the season of skeletons in the closet or dark secrets. Things that others don't want to talk about or are uncomfortable with. Eido is the only bright light in this dark storyline.
Also the pirates. The pirates are a bright side.
Misraaks. Meez-racks. Not, "Mith-rax". It's a fun little ongoing joke/debate surrounding the Fallen as some of them slowly become our friends. As we learn more about the "Fallen", the Eliksni, we realize we don't know much at all. Misraaks was said and rendered as Mithrax for years, and in some of the deep written lore we learn that he simply tolerates it as a small price for the benefits of working with humanity.
Do want to say that during witch queen, season of haunted and plunder (This season you are watching) all subclasses got upgraded to add some more creativity. During witch queen Void was updated. During Season of the haunted solar was updated. Finally season of plunder arc was updated. Just wanted to add some background knowledge on the gameplay. So if you see a buff on the left hand side of the screen ( ie radiant, amplify) thats why. They also added armor to match the subclasses.
Also during this season titans and hunters were heavily using melees durning this time.

Pirate energy was very enjoyable, soon as Drifter said "pirates" in the first trailer, we got PUMPED. I miss my Ketch but I got the weapons and gear still, it's so much fun!
Esoterrick is actually insane. He managed to solo an un-soloable activity in The Final Shape by playing on two different accounts so he could have two Guardians 💀.

Everyone is terrified of Misraaks. He’s like Kratos, a little. He used to be one of the most dangerous people in the galaxy, and now he wants to leave it all behind.
Eido is my favorite eliksni, she's always hopeful and trying to help in any way she can.
First his name is Misraaks not Mithrax. Some skeletons in the closet are gonna come out in this season but also you can see a new threat aka the relics. Drifter says they reminded him of something long ago. Obviously I won’t say what that story is exactly, but what the Drifter encountered and these relics are the same kind of dark relic. Those relics are far more dangerous than you can imagine, you’ll find out soon enough.
Also a little fun fact here this is only said in a lore book that happens in this season. Mithrax and the Spider are actually adopted brothers, there was a third adopted brother by the name of Siviks but during season of Black Armory we killed him. He wasn’t exactly a good Eliksni.
I remember when this season started and I was so excited for the journey across the seven stars
16:15 Mithrax hides these details from you because if he tells you about it, it could potentially create fear surrounding both his past and the treasure you seek. On top of that, fear is what gives the treasure its power and you’ll learn more about the treasure later on this season and in Lightfall.

Plunder was by far the most hated season that year. Maybe even overall. Seraph is where things go crazy.
At your current watching pace, you'll get to Final Shape in March (assuming you do 3-4 parters). Can't wait.
Esoterikk is known as the greatest solo player of Destiny. New content is out, Eso has done it solo the next day.

Idk why you guys hate The Spider so much, he's one of my fav characters, and he's a cool morally grey ally to call upon since Forsaken.
They are using a different type of guardian in this one. You normally see a hunters play. But they changed into a titan, and all titans know it smash smash. We love to do that
The irony of this event taking place right as the Depp/Heard trial was taking place was not lost on me...
Although not everyone liked this season. Surprisingly even the Lore daddy wasn't pleased about it either. I appreciate the small/big tasks of helping others such as House of Light.
Right off the bat, the Ship-Stealers monolog.
All of the Eliksni had to do pretty bad things to survive after the Great Whirlwind. The lore journals that launched with this expansion are excerpts of Misraaks and Eramis in the days spent in Ketchs and mobile flotilla in search of the Traveler after it left them, this is when the Eliksni culture started to decline harshly and they became what humanity would know them as "the Fallen". Docking limbs as punishment, controlling people by depriving them of the Ether Eliksni need to live (Misraaks is the size an full-grown Eliksni should be, about 8-9 feet tall, most Eliksni we see are around 5-6 feet as a result of being badly malnourished), Eramis would dump people she could not support in the guise of "fair trade" to stretch her rivals Ketch short of supplies and force them to make hard choices that will demoralize their crew (ie. cannibalism or out the airlock). Misraaks abandoning members of his crew who defied his orders on a meteor to starve to death. It was a fucked up time.

Really looking forward to seeing you guys get to Season of the Seraph (the next season). In the meantime, enjoy the space pirates and the laying down of threads for some future plots!
This season was the season they dropped the updated arc subclass changes. I play arc hunter with assassins cowl. So when I punch something to death I go invisible and recover my health.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames It's because it's an exotic helmet. (gold tier) Exotic gear is a must have, and now there are exotic class items you can get that have double perks, but it's random rolls so pray to RNGesus that you get the one you want.

It's actually one of my favorites, I always enjoy eliksni stories. Hive are a close second.

I did love this season thematically. However the execution of the gameplay was lacking sadly. I was so sad about it, because I was hoping for more, but Pete Parsons "really" needed that umpteenth vintage car...

I'll say this again and again whenever Eramis, I like her a lot, she's the perfeect fallen enemy, hostile but can be talked to to some degree. But her hate for humanity has the most stupid and nonsensical reasons.
She hates humanity because we've killed countless eliksni/fallen, but they were the ones to come to our planet after the collapse, to loot and they killed any and all humans that they came into contact with before guardians stepped up and fought back.
Now, in her hubris as one of the only two remaining kells, she denies a better future for her people, if they agree to live in peace with humanity, who have shown to forgive and fight other humans who dare to harm eliksni out of past grievances, plus, having the same immortal, powerful beings that have massacred eliksni for generations but now they're, in lack of a better word, their guardians.
While I enjoyed this season as a fun little side adventure I was definitely more fond of the gameplay than the story. I'm eagerly awaiting your reaction for the next season which is by far my personal favorite out of any season we have had so far
