Hello from Oregon, USA -- thank-you for the fun video tour of Pokhara. 50 years ago, I lived and worked for 2 1/2 years about 5 hours walk NW of town up the Seti/Mardi River Valley. At the time, Pokhara was still a small town with a population of only 26,000 people, very few cars and no motorbikes at all. Several times a year I would make the trip into Pokhara and would always stay at lakeside as there were several cheap guest houses and restaurants making it a fun place to meet up with friends. I expect places to change over time, but the rapid population growth and urbanization of the Pokhara area is a bit shocking, for sure. Anyway, nice to see such healthy forests and general prosperity of the local people. Thanks again for the well-produced video and a reminder of a wonderful time in my life. btw, you guys are adorable, new subscriber here and I look forward to your next post. Best wishes and safe travels.
Whoa Oregon! Can't wait to go back soon, such a beautiful state. And thank you for sharing that story, it's nice to hear a different perspective on it 😃
Who is complete God? The Holy Bible gives the answer to this question. Let's find out. Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding). Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose. In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God. Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok.
you can't see the mount everest but you can easily and clearly see mount Annapurna which is 10th highest mountain of the world if the cloud doesn't disturb..😉..Welcome to Nepal
It’s the hottest time of the year and Pokhara is a city that gets the highest amount of rainfall in all of Nepal!! Hope it cools down the sky clears up so you can enjoy the view !!
First tourist in Pokhara who doesn’t barging while exploring the beauty of Pokhara it’s good to see you guys taking everything positively love from Nepal,Pokhara hope u will visit again enjoy ur days god bless you !
Annapurna Circuit Trek, Lumbini (Birth Place of Buddha), Shey Phoksundo National Park, Rara Lake, Tilicho Lake (Lake situated at highest altitude in the world), Bardiya National Park, Khaptad National Park & many more Beautiful & breath taking places to visit Sir & ma'am. Hope U lovely couple enjoy visiting atleast any one of these places. Stay Safe & Have a Lovely time in NEPAL 🇳🇵😊

That's amazing to hear! We honestly loved it and will be going back again for sure. Definitely go for at least 5 days. Thank you for watching and enjoy when you go 😃
You could say that when you go to India but Nepal not scumb country.i was there just 4weeks ago, everything is reasonable price hotel, food, transport ect..and the veiw was extra ordinary only thing is they need to look on is road ..good video to watch..thanks
Yes many of the main roads in Nepal are very bad. They are trying to repair and make new roads, but sadly because of corruption, they are not built properly in the first place. or repairs are poor quality and so deteriorate rapidly especially at monsoon time. The have plans to build an East-West railway and also connect to India and Tibet by railway, so this will mean less heavy traffic on the roads. But this will still be many years away.
Sir, Pokhara is just a small look of Nepal. For having a best experience in your life you can visit the following places of Nepal which looks like heaven: 1. Badimalika 2. Manage Mustang 3. khaptad 4. Shey pokhsundo lake, Rara lake, Gosaikunda etc 5. illam and sudurpaschim parts 6. Ghale gau For Religious you can also go Lumbini which is the birth place of light of asia.
I think the temperature data is incorrect, the max temperature ever reached in Pokhara was 37 degree celsius in 1999, the temperature u are experiencing should be around 32 degrees.
Visited the city in April lucky to have Nepalese relatives to take us places, lovely people great places to visit.Best advice hire a taxi and driver for the day
Nice video guys. Yes it's a tourist trap and yes it's worth visiting. These days, Pokhara City and Lakeside area (apart from the lake itself) could almost be any city in South Asia, (not like when I first visited 40 years ago in 1982), but there are plenty of other places to visit and see in this area. You say you are now pursuing a life travelling full-time, may I suggest, with respect, you slow down a little and don't rush to tick off all the touristy things in the cities and towns. In the hilly regions and villages you will find people and a way of life that will far outweigh and give you much more pleasure than you will find in the cities and big towns. In fact on some treks you will find basic but adequate accommodation for no charge at all as long as you buy a very cheap meal at their restaurant. But you will definitely need to slow your pace of life down and not get too phased if, for example you cant find a direct bus to Bandipur or you think you have but discover you have to make a stop off to connect to your next destination. While waiting for a connecting local bus for a few hours, you will discover so much more about the Nepali people and their amazing culture than by sitting in a non-stop air-conditioned tourist bus filled only with other tourists. I'm thinking that by the time you leave Nepal you will have learned the real meaning of "patience" and you will be a better person and I think you will want to return sometime in the future. Subha Yatra. Happy travels.
Visited Pokhara in Aug 2003 and it was a still a quiet sleepy town back then. Love the lake and the view of the Himalayan range from the hotel we were staying. Is there still Mt Everest flight out of Kathmandu? We did it and the close up view of the Himalayas was just awesome! Watching from Cebu, Philippines ❤️
If you guys love lakes you should visit Rara lake in Mugu district in Nepal. You can take a flight there then it’s a short hike to the lake. It’s at an altitude of 3000 meters and is breathtakingly beautiful.
@@adamandyaz you are right somewhere Mr. Binod coz before a decade ago no other cities in Nepal were as developed and clean and well managed compared to our city but now it's quite lagging behind the other one's , small reminder to Adam and Yaz as well hehe
