Leo Halem Yeah, she doesn't express anything with this song, so what's the point, and she doesn't have a character, she is just a simple singer as thousands. For example Lady Gaga has a character, carisma, powerfull meaning in her lyrics, great tunes, stunning looks, flawless choreography, that is why she has millions of views. views have to be earned, don't want to sound to arrogant but Dami didn't deserve it (yet).

Because she has a very oriental look :P There are other more whitewashed Asian singers in the US that are more successful unfortunately.They strip away their orientality by heavy makeup, plastic surgery, etc. just for a little bit of fame. Dami is still relatively new compare to the North American and Brit big name singers. Up until this year, Dami is mostly only promoted in Australia by her label if any at all. Hopefully she will will be prompted around the world this year.

Australia recognised her talent and potential to win eurovision and in fact we made the right choice to select her to represent Australia. Thats right you don't have to be on Dami's social media pages & comment to promote, there are so many fans who prefer not to "Live on Social media" including myself, I feel in a way social media alienates so many fans who are bombarded with "Social Trash" without understanding social media etiquette. Stephen it's important to understand Dami has over 224K on her FB & 50K on Twitter, does not mean every single Fan has to post or comment to support or promote, there are other marketing & promotional options if you choose- Website advertising, contacting various professional sources & Industries, digital print media, & yes some require payment, however the impact is far greater.

If you look at what those Artists are capable of Singing they are restricted, Dami is in a league of her own when it comes to versatility.
Actually both Sia and Jessie J have both versatility and range. Adele is more of a crooner. What they're singing now is not an indicator of their abilities. Especially not for Sia who's been around the longest.
In saying that although Dami I'm s voice tone is the most beautiful to me in the entire world ..
I think what separates Dami from the rest is she can go as High as any Artist when it comes to Octaves & combine that with the most exquisite lower tones & register, pitch perfect with the ability to evoke emotion & her voice penetrating deep.

I saw Dami's concert a few days ago. It was a beautiful and inspiring experience. She is so much fun and her concert is very personable .. and reaches every individual in a filled auditorium. It was a divine mixture of sensitive femininity with enormous vocal power and energy .. I guess that is our Dami. She shows how you can be powerful and sweet at the same time. Dami sang FFL and it was even better live .. Dami is always better live, so if you get the chance get to her concert .. you will be blessed.

Her live concerts are amazing. Appealing to all ages. Saw her a few weeks ago in her home town concerts (Brisbane and Gold Coast) back to back over two nights. Her sets were over two hours each and she stayed back to chat to everyone who lined up to see her into the early hours of the morning. Hard working and such a talent.

I agree, the MV has no props & only uses 2 Talents (Dancer's) who would of earned several hundred bucks each , compare that to an average video production & it's cheap, nonetheless much better than the embarrassing , amateurish MV for her first "Alive" Single which was publicly criticised.

Its EDM ffs what did you expect, this wasn't written with the AU market in its scope but EU imo. Most people follow Dami for the music, if the style doesn't fit their tastes they wont come or buy... if you wanted to focus on the AU market, it wouldn't be EDM, that simple (hence the global release ). Dami has a superb voice but not everyone is a reality fanatic, they follow her and/or buy her music based on the music resonating with them. .... and caps, really?

pretty much what is happening, ausralians love their indie and rock band music and are ignoring this genre of music essentially if you are not a well known artist in oz you are pretty much ignored.
dami rushed this song out to sing it at xfactor, it did not get any preview or any marketing and was just lost. even top artists like guy Sebastian and delta Goodrem are being ignored now.

When I read all the comments, is it just me or a lot of comments from the Asian fans seems much more critical of Dami about either her song or video? To me it is an awesome song and a nice video. She is not well known world-wide yet like other North American artists (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Brittany Spears, etc...) who have millions to spend on music videos. Once she is being promoted world-wide and sell millions of records, her and her label will have more money to spend on more sophisticated videos. Until then, this is a very good video IMO. Be patient with her people.
