so late 70's.such a winter song of that year '79...i liked it but thought 'so young' was a classic for the time & looking back now u can see that 'so young' is superior and in actual fact 'so young' imo is one of the greatest australian tunes of all time
Ive been humming this song to everyone and the Soundhound app to find it. i got the group mixed up with Joe Strummer but im so bloody glad i found it. Work playlist is almost complete! Hes got so much damn swagger too!
i got the descending bassline stuck in my head one day, cause im young and my dad has it on CD. we were all playing Cards Against Humanity and i heard it and just ran off to type it down.
Thanks for all the info Ray and the clip. Malta is a great island. I recommend anyone go there. They love Australians there and they are zany happy people. You can see some of the zaniness in Joe's stage performances!
one of the best around in the day! who ended up at their headline stagedoor tavern gig after they supported elvis costello at the regent theatre in c1980. jojo zep at two shows in one night?.......ahh yes and wandering up george st sydney in the early hours trying to find a late night taxi.
I noticed a lot of these bands sort of sound like a cross between Reggae and Southern Rock, but also that later US Rock (especially Heartland Rock and Grunge),sorta sound a fucking lot like Pub Rock.
One of the hardest working musicians in the country and still touring.
He was just such a Wog......................and proud of it.........very fond memories!

It's not live, countdown never was.
Not live check 2:15. They're playing over their album track
It's common knowledge Countdown was 99% lip synced.
@@valentinorossi5328 What gave it away, the studio recording, or that they were on Countdown?
Ska
