For anyone buying a high amp draw piece of equipment, make sure you use the right guage extension cord. The curling that shows up in the video is a sign that the cord is heating up from excessive current draw that it can not handle.
Are you sure the cord is curling from heat or is it just from being wound up?
@@Briluvr Yes I always use a 10 gauge cord for all my high amp tools and now I do not have the curling of the cords.

Just unpacked it and used it today, luckily was sunny. Grass grown almost 8-10inch tall. The beast took in the whole 0.2 acres like nothing. Although, I must admit, it was almost 80F here and the motor shutoff, even after the sack was empty due to overheating. But to be fair, I was running it for almost 2 hours. I am very satisfied with the purchase, the cable isn't even a hassle once you get used to it.
I have one and it's great!

Why do you need to cut the lawn so short? The lawn actually looked better before the mow. it was a pretty green with just a few leaves. It's nature there are supposed to be leaves on grass. Seem a waste of effort when it didn't even need to be mowed yet. Great review though - Thanks.

Looks lie a good lawn mower. I used to have a corded lawn mower, but because of having to use an extension cord I repeatedly did not want to cut the grass. I'm spoiled this way. The only way I use a lawn mower now is by battery. I hate fiddling with the extension cord at all costs.
My lawn to big for that.
