@@dxpTypeBeatz thanks bro 🙏 how do you feel a daw changes the workflow compared to the MPC and what daw do you recommend ?

@@questforfreedom7 A daw simply gives you all the possibilities.
It will seem overwhelming at first but you can stick to your usual workflow and just use the daw to compliment it by having more sound / sample / mixing / export options.
If you're planning to do some recording, do yourself a favor and don't use FL Studio. (coming from a 6 year FL user).
If you're into live playing and live looping you should take a look at Bitwig or Ableton.
Logic and Cubase are solid all-rounder choices, although they do suck at live performing.
I recently switched to Bitwig and I'm loving it, but I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.
Ableton would be great tho, since it seems like it will suit your current workflow by enabling you to use the daw as a live instrument. And it has by far the best tutorials out of all the daws.
Wish you lots of fun with the cool setup!

@@questforfreedom7 Side note if performance is also a deciding factor: Cubase will use the resources of your mac the most efficiently. Bitwig is also pretty decent since it doesn't have old code structures limiting it's performance.
Depending on how complex your beats are or how many non-stock plugins you plan on using, Logic, FL Studio and Ableton will reach performance issues pretty fast on your machine.
About plugins: Don't buy any. 99% are just marketing. Feel free to reply to this post and ask me if you feel like you absolutely NEED a plugin and I'll help you decide if it's actually worth it
