    Great video! After seeing so many kit aircraft ventures go bankrupt over the years by trying to succeed on a dubious combination of inadequate startup capital and advanced customer deposits, it's nice to see a currently successful company with multiple revenue streams involved in bringing an aircraft to market. They not only already have extensive experience in composite design and construction techniques, but appear to have the financial ability to withstand the considerable time of sinking money into the venture while waiting for the product to succeed and provide a return on the investment. The innovative design and exceptional performance of the CompAir 6.2 aircraft is also amazing.

I can get a timestamp if ya look at this and have no clu what space I was referring to.... it was in the WING ROOM while they were talkin about the lower skins and the spars n stuff...

      I don’t know much about composite construction. What are they doing that makes you question their methods?

    • @oiphebal
      @oiphebal 10 месяцев назад +5

      absolutely no air quality control, very minor temperature control, no post-curing whatsoever, fabrics handled with bare hands (can lead to delamination), drums of polyester resin, etc. this video is a materials engineer's nightmare.

    • @RubyS.1
      @RubyS.1 10 месяцев назад +3

      @@oiphebal no tool or hardware accountability. The bare hands is actually a really big deal. Should be far more sterile especially because it's composite

  • @DanFrederiksen
    @DanFrederiksen 10 месяцев назад +2

    Very interesting. They don't do anything to contain the loose carbon fiber to prevent breathing them? that might not be entirely healthy. Like how breathing asbestos was not entirely healthy.

    • @tinolino58
      @tinolino58 10 месяцев назад

      There is no loose carbon. It’s all bonded in epoxy.

    • @DanFrederiksen
      @DanFrederiksen 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@tinolino58 all those frayed edges, there is just no way that isn't breathed in. have you checked under microscope? in air filters?

    @jamessanders5648 10 месяцев назад +6

    Yeah...this video probably won't help sales. Very messy facility with non-existent organization of materials/chemicals and I bet there's no documented version of standardized work instructions. Not too many people who could afford such an aircraft would purchase it after seeing this video and jeopardize their safety.

They have proven their quality over the years with the amazing things they have built over the years. From the space industry to the entertainment industry, their products are quality !!! They built the fire breathing dragon for the HARRY POTTER ride as well! An amazing job on that!!!
