The wait is killing me!!! Anyway, I look forward to see King Robert and his now Queen Willow ruling together happily ever after and kicking the others' asses, I mean more than they just did! 👌😂🤣

I think this was a a good ending actually. I have rewatched this so many times. You can just imagine now their reign. I love that Creep is being sung by the choir and that the minister pronounced them “man and woman” (as if they were not before) in addition to King and Queen and man and wife. The whole thing with them having weapons and loading them in the church is just so fantastical. That’s one reason I like this show. That and the soundtracks

I'm glad it ended when it did. The writers would have trashed Rillow in Series 5 to make the 'Good Guys' ie Toxic characters triumph. Although I would have loved up see rule together, navigate marriage and most certainly put the rest of that traitorous family in their place. GG did a great job during this scene! You could really couldn't tell what Willow was thinking until the very end when she finally smiles and says I Do. Everyone has different theories about why Willow decided to go through with the wedding but I think it has something to do with whatever Robert told Willow in the previous scene. I feel like he said something that made her think he was "redeemable" and reaffirmed his love and their connection. For me, GG played it like Willow was conflicted during the whole walk down the aisle, the ceremony and Robert's vows but when the priest asked her if she would take Robert as her husband, Willow decided at that moment to follow her herart and trust in Robert. That's my two cents on it, we'll see what happens next season (hopfully!). Thank you so much for uploading all of their scenes this season. You've been a real MVP in the Willobert/Rillow fandom LMAOO

Even with the sexual harassment allegations against the creator, they could've still found a way to leave someone else in charge of the show, and continue the story. It's horrible that the actors and crew all had to lose their jobs, because of one bad apple in the bunch. With the way the show was chopped off, it looks like the bad guy won. Not fair at all.

I disagree, I think it was single-handedly the best writing in the show ever and not joking, I hate soap operas, one of the best endings in TV or film history. By the way I write again, I hate Soap operas, I only watched it because of Narnia boy and at the start it was annoying and all over the place but in Season three and especially Season four, even though it was still full of clichés and predictable moments it ended so well, with a brilliant song. Again I hate Soaps but Season four was worth it. They kept the show short and did not run out of steam. Granted the reason was awful.
I disagree, granted he shut down all of London's electricity, and by the way Robert is so intelligent in the way he handled it, I was surprised by how much he did not do wrong. Every qualm, except for the one we knew about already, was dispelled. I agree he committed huge moral disgraces but it does not seem like he was a Tyrant. From what I gathered he wanted a Feudal structure, without Serfs unless you think the U.K. would ever accept that, of ruling and so maintain a classist system, he is very explicitly so, but otherwise...eh. As long as he abides by the Bill of Rights, and we already know he is not racist for example, some of the lords themselves and Sebastian are black or mixed race, so it could work.

I've watched this scene so many times since it aired and I can't get it out of my mind 😩 I loved how this relationship between Robert and Willow has developed thoughout this season even though I have issues with Roberts ideologies and methods politically speaking. I truly believe that these two are endgame and are in love and I hope that the writers give Robert a redemptive path for the sake of Willow and their undeniable love for eachother. Robert is a character with many battles within himself and I hope that Willow will guide him back to the light which I'm so for watching because I'm down and invested for watching the journey of these two 😍😍

I’m actually really angry that the series stopped here. I mean this is not an open ending or cliffhanger. This is just in the middle of a storyline. If I would have know that this show ended like this I wouldn’t have watched it. I mean it’s amazing but all those last episodes or basically the whole show built up to this very moment and then it just isn’t there. You cannot end a show like this!

This looks like and sounds like a Church of England marriage rite. The proper response to the question asked by the Bishop is “I will”. “I do” is used by the Roman Catholic rite. Poor script writer.

I love Robert, is he an asshole? Yes, is he evil? No. They act like he's a genocidal dictator when none of them have any ground to stand on. From Cyrus, to Liam, Helena, Jasper or even Eleanor. None of them are saints and have done horrible things. Liam is just too obsessed with the throne, Kathryn, and trying to beat Robert. Four episodes before this Jasper finds out that it was his father that almost killed him and Eleanor and he are like "eh". But to Eleanor Robert is the anti-christ because he destroyed her letter to Jasper. Forget about the fact that her mom has slept with 2 of her different guys or that she plotted to have them declared illegitimate or all the other things she's done.
The way that the show tried to sell that stealing a letter was enough for Eleanor to consider Robert the antichrist,but Jasper blackmailing, manipulating and RAPING her when they met doesn't matter too much and she felt in love with him.Liam has had the same bad attitude with his brother even before he knew about the blackout. Helena and Cyrus has no moral high ground to judge.
I loved part where willow walked down the aisle and gave flowers to her mum and stand next to Robert and I loved part where Robert took her hand and he smiled her.
All of them look great, but not all of them carry a certain *class* , a certain air of *royalty*

I’ve only just learnt about this show! Interesting that the filming location is actually somewhere I’ve toured on my travels through England - a gorgeous medieval church called “Ely Cathedral”. This scene does not do its incredible beauty justice however, and completely misses the building’s famed 14th century Octagonal tower/ lantern (which would make sense seeing as I’m guessing this is supposed to be Westminster Abbey).
The editing didn’t through the previous episodes get across the scorned emotion of willow, when Liam side stepped her for other women, that her feelings where really hurt. The premise of the show was absolute power corrupting absolutely and in this willow now finds herself with that very decision and as it has done and will continue to do so, she was offered absolute power..............

Ahsan Siddiqui really the worst that this show has done is transforming Robbie as he was the most evil villain. He was just the hero and was loved for everyone in first two seasons, and now everyone hate him. Now, they want to sell that even Cyrus is better than him. I am just waiting if there is any fifth season, there is a plot twist showing that Robbie is not that evil as it seems, because making him like a tyrant that wants to control the country, even Cyrus call him Hitler. May be, Robert is doing all this for a major reason.

Really even in second season the blu ray version showed a scene of Ted pryce confessing he killed Robert becasue he knew how much king simon loved him, the pilot script showed how much king simon loved and admired Robert. So obviously this horrible, bad son Robert, bad Simon-Robert relationship, Robert faked his death was a retcon.They are even using the man that tried to kill him in the first season, this same guy was in other seasons regreting for killing him and now he is hatimg him and the royal family even gave him a gun.
Binge watched and finished this on Netflix weeks ago and still pissed at the fact it ends this way

The 4th season story of Robert, Liam, the Queen, and Cyrus just sucked. The only saving grace was the storyline between Jasper and Eleanor. I mean come on yes Robert did some shady stuff but come on this whole season instead of trying to work it out all season they were planning on overthrowing him and the grand finale was to humiliate him on his wedding day? The writers made it seem like they all forgot what it means to be a family and take the good with the bad and work through all the crap and bad times just really shitty writing if u ask me.

Terry Turner I have never heard of this show and the whole thing looks awful. A couple of points though. Some Royal weddings are held in evening dress and some in a combination of day and evening. Look at, for instance, Princess Alexandra's wedding. Long dresses for the ladies, but with hats not tiaras. Royal guards on duty in a church keep their headgear on, but it would never be a Guards regiment, just the Yeomen of the Guard or The Queen's Gentlemen at Arms. Certainly no guns are carried in a church. The Yeomen carry halberds and the Gentlemen carry poleaxes.

In short, Robert and Willow are in love but Robert's insecurities and his constant need for control drived a wedge between them (and also with his family). He didn't share with Willow his plans and dismantled Parliament without telling her, while she wants their relationship to be a true partnership with no secrets. She had doubts about their future marriage and joined his family that planned a coup to take down Robert during the wedding. Willow was supposed to expose Robert during her vows but chose to marry him instead, and that's why the others look pissed. The guns were the plan B, taking down Robert by force, but they chose not to. As you can see, it's not a boring tv show! ;)

MsRealitytvfan they planned an epic coup against Robert (the groom) so Willow (the bride) should have told publicly of all his crimes. So they are waiting for that but still have their doubts which are true as she betrays them for him.

Call me crazy why do I get the feeling Williow is the new Helena. For while she is still married to the King she secretly loves Liam so while Robert gets the crown Williow pursues uses Liam by taking Kate and her baby away making it seem like Kate does love Liam anymore. So when Liam is finally on the brink of sadness Williow steps in an start an affair with Liam. Then Liam realizes it was Williow and not Robert who he spent the whole new season hating for getting rid of Kate and there baby. But he realize he has no choice because Williow is queen anything she say people will do plus she is pregnant.
Now that would be a hell of a season lol, you should get on the writers team with such ideas! ^^ I used to ship Liam and Willow, but the writers seem to have drop this couple for good with this season, Liam was completely indifferent about Willow's wedding, and the writing clearly shows that Willow is in love with Robert now: "It wouldn't be the worst thing not to be Queen, but not to marry Robbie, that would be devastating" + "I love your son" + "You know I love you don't you?" + so many other scenes. I do think this 'love triangle'/switch could have been handled better, I was shocked and quite frankly disappointed with the lack of reaction from Liam, but I guess it's consistent with the story, it's like Willow said, Liam never saw her at all, and it's his loss. I honestly don't know where to stand with Willow, she does sound too good to be true, and while I ship her with Robert and would love her to be his redemption, I think it would be interesting to see her 'less good'. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Personally I think Cassandra the rejected queens candidate predictions will be right next season as with Robert lust for power and Liam desperate seek for Kate that leaves Williow the middle woman for support from both men. One for Liam will need a friend, and two Robeet will obviously need someone he can trust if he sent Kate away and not Williow.
I think everyone can agree that Cassandra is going to be very problematic if she's in season 5, something I do not look forward to! ^^ However I can't wait to see Willow handling her new position as Queen and yes, I hope the writers will finally give us more Liam&Willow scenes, while I gave up on them romantically I still love them as friends, so fingers crossed!

To be honest Liam's true love to me is Ophelia from season 1, Queen Helena seem to have a tendency to meddle in her children's lives and destroy the love they find because she herself is quite miserable with herself no matter how much of a facade her puts up. As for Willow and Robert I want them to survive and grow as a couple, also why would Willow try to kidnapp Kathryn she was the least of all of Willow's problem it was more like Cassandra. All the characters has flaws and the all have issues among themselves, I also would love to see more of Willow's parents(especially her mother) and for them to be inclusive with the royal family which their daughter is now apart of. What is clear is that if there is Season 5, a lot of drama and I mean drama will be there, because I can bet they will be hostile towards Willow and will try to come up with a plan to destroy her because she decided to stay with Robert. In the first place Willow should have never being involved with their coupe and if she had gone through with it, she would have been the one to take the fall and everyone else would have walked away scotch free as if they were all innocent in it. I can bet Willow didn't know about the plan to kill Robert and that she would have felt responsible if it had happen.
THIS. I still can't believe Ophelia was let go like that, the show was based on a book where she was the main character and her love story with Liam was central, and we're supposed to just forget her? Sorry, the writers will have to do better than that. As for Willow, I agree 100% with everything you said, one way or another, she was deemed to pay the price of this coup, and I hope the Henstridges will stop being so self-centered for a minute and look at the situation from Willow's perspective, but I'm not holding my breath. And yes, I would love to see more of Willows's parents too, her mother seems to know a few things about Helena's past and she would be a great ally to her daughter. War is coming in season 5 (if we get one!) and I can't wait to watch it! #RenewTheRoyals

Sometimes I want this show had not been cancelled,but sometimes I think may be this was good. Sorry, but is so obvious that the show trying to sell Robert being "the bad guy" is a badly written retcon,and I said "bad guy" bc other characters have done worse shit and the snow is trying to sell them as they are not that bad now . Also how the man that tried to kill Robert in the first seasons that supposedly regreted trying to kill him is now hating him and is being used by Robert's family,he is the one with the gun and everything,how are these people the good side ?

I'm sorry but no. From the moment we are introduced to Robert , to his flash backs playing chess with his father , it is crystal clear he is a psychopath genuinely incapable of seeing the value in others beyond his use.
He was never supposed to be the hero and he never truly was.
Even Cyrus who is the definition of spoiled , vindictive and corrupt as much as he wanted to be king never went through with killing his brother Simon... but Robert his own son planned his father's death just so that he could be king , that's beyond cold.
And Cyrus unlike Robert has been shown to have deeper emotions for OTHERS ( his mother , his brother and Violet etc) , while Robert's emotions are very limited and shallow at best.
There's a reason he (Robert) is often calm and cool , because unlike the others he actually truly does not care about anyone else but himself , nor did he EVER (even as a child) . He even low key mocks people who have deeper feelings for others.
You would either need to be blind and or deaf or not paying attention to not see or understand Robert is a classic psychopath and was meant to be portrayed as such from the beginning.
What bothers me is the ending , why Willow said "I do" . Maybe she is planning to destroy Robert's rein from the inside or maybe she is even more corrupt and was conning the Royal Family all along. Who knows.
@@phan643 there is no substantial evidence that Robert plotted to kill his Father, just the hysterical ramblings of Liam, and Cyrus!!~ a Rapist and Murderer ~that is definitely canon, the ridiculous retcon of Roberts character was a desperate attempt to redeem Liam and his actor due to Max Brown overshadowing the rest of the cast when he came on board

I have not seen still Robert killed and raped anyone . what jasper did,is also manipulation and being a rapist,but the show still decided to sell a romantic story of love with Eleanor. Also that Robert killed Simon wasnt never confirmed. The way he reacted to knowing his father being dead or seeing alone the footage when he was killed showed me another thing . Also I still remember when I watched the dvd scene of the first season with Ted pryce alone confessing unconscious Simon that he killed Robert bc he knew how much Simon loved him and wanted simon to suffer the same than he suffered with his wife, I still remember when I read the pilot script and how much really Simon loved and admired Robert there and his words. I also remember first season and how Simon told Helena how he missed Robert and how Robert could have been anything in the world.
So ,I don't believe that Robert is just a psychopath,evil big villain,for me it must be something more,and if that isnt the case, that he is just bad,it would a a badly written retcon. It was heavily implied that Robert has Simon killed , through something called imagery and recollection THAT'S what the chess game represents , not the actual game itself.
The show makes it abundantly clear Robert is a psychopath in the truest sense of the word.
Are the other characters saints ? NO. BUT despite their lack of morals and debauchery they do have one thing
Robert never had , GENUINE feelings for persons other than themselves.
Yes Cyrus raped , he also cared for his brother and Violet.
Yes Helena schemed slept around and manipulated circumstances , but she also truly cared for ALL her children beyond herself.
People aren't linear just because someone did horrible things dosen't mean they have no feelings for anything or anyone else.
Robert , in turn , manipulates everything and everyone in his sphere for his benefit alone.
He dosen't allow others to make their own choices and operated under the guise of he knew best.
Even the way Robert speaks is indicative of his Dark Triad psychopathy , he is calm and cool because he dosen't have any genuine emotions for others.
Feelings for others , that's what makes most people do irrational things , but with Robert there's only ambition and a bloated hubris.
Seriously if you didn't understand that Robert isn't nor never was meant to be the hero and that of ALL the characters because he is a psychopath , which are born not made , he actually is the character on the show with the LEAST chance at redemption , then I really do feel sorry for you.
The show made it crystal clear Robert is a power mad psychopath , and was even as a child.
His father played a chess game with him , told him he had no special gifts that couldn't be taught , and that he still loved him very much.
That didn't sit well with Robert , ever , because psychopathic persons HATE to lose and have little to zero coping skills when they DO.
Now if his father had abused him , hurt him , told him he would never amount to anything , maybe it would be more justified.
However Simon tells Robert he will not make a good king , because he sees the psychopathic uncaring , cold , callous , arrogant nature of his oldest son , so he's honest.
A good king should be kind and care about the people and Robert was born not being able to do that , nor is he particularly interested in learning how to be more empathetic etc.
So again very obvious Robert was meant to be the ' villain ' and also very obvious he had Simon killed given , his character and subsequent machinations to get the crown.

The evidence in the scene of Ted confessing to unconsious Simon he killed Robert to make him suffer ,the pilot script in how much Simon admired Robert , Simon telling Helena how much he missed Robert and how he believed Robert could have been anything in the world in first eason shows my point about being a retcon. Also stop using te word psycho,even in real life a lot of studies have to be done to a real person to say that.And you thinking a character that is a rapist for you can be so easily redeemed is so shitty,the thing is that in shows like this ,the things about Robert can be just red hearings ,they still can make another retcon,and show us how they were playing with us,not everything have to be what it seems,more nuance can exist,just bc he is shown being cooler than the rest of characters that are also manipulators doesn't mean he coulndt be redeemed . And that Robert has not other feelings that aren't for himself isn't what the shows have told us,even in scenes when he was alone about he felt guilt when Eleanor asked him why he hadnt come back or how he reacted alone watching his father being killed,he wasnt sure of really coming back even erasing being a price in his casket ,things weren't that calculating ,with Robert we still don't know many things,there are enigmas about his feelings and intentions .
