Surfing. The Stubbies 30 Year Reunion Comp, Burleigh Heads Queensland Australia April 2007

The 1st Stubbies Comp was held at Burleigh point in 1977 featuring some of the best surfers on the world stage at that time, it was also the 1st Pro comp to use the man on man format & was won by Michael MP Peterson. April 2007.
30 years later, the tribe got together once more to celebrate by having a reunion comp with most of the originals plus competitors from later Stubbies comps. this video features surfers, such as, MP, Mark Richards, Guy Omerod, Mark Warren, Peter Townend, Ian Cairns, Buzzy Kerbox, Peter Harris, Allan Byrne, Randy Rarick, Cheyne Horan, Paul Neilsen, Michael Ho, Wayne Bartholomew, Tom Carroll, Simon Anderson, Andrew Mckinnon, Gary Quenton Hughes, Dennis Pang, plus many others.
it is now 2019, over 40 years have past & this group will never get together as one again. this video is not about the surfing per se, its about an unforgettable era in the history of surfing & its my era too. *note, the main reason Mick Fanning is surfing is because he was representing MP in the re-enactment of the final in '77 between MP & MR. ENJOY.
