Caeda took a lot of inspiration from legendary Marth by taking bonus doubler and unity thus becoming a statball, while keeping her trademark effectiveness against cabs and armours, and those new counter skills will do wonders to my many Marths that have been waiting for good fodder. This banner is actually pretty neat, not so much for the meta, but for how decently thought out the units/characters are. Attuned Caeda and Ascended Merric seem like well-thought out alts for the characters, and their kits are good, if not super OP. Arlen is also pretty interesting in his stat distribution. That, and cutting so deep as to include Yulia is definitely good for representation. All in all, solid skip banner, but it's not bad.

Caeda has been mostly a flier except for her Bridal alt which is a Blue tome infantry and her Summer Harmonic alt with Plumeria which is an Axe cavalry unit. Just wanted to point this out.
Attuned Caeda looks great and I kinda want to pull Arlen and Ascended Merric but I agree with you Tacho, This banner smells of "the rent is due and we your money now" type. Especially with them powercreeping the absolute hell out of the attuned skills so quickly.
This is really neat With Caeda it looks like what could've been a Brave version of her in a way, also interesting how they are combining both Distant/Close Counter with Bonus Doubler, definitely pulling for Attuned Caeda and Ascended Merric
I have over 300 orbs and I have no idea where to drop them. I don't even know if I actually want anything from the upcoming green dream banner, but this Caeda looks like a nice, fun unit to have. But even then, April is war crimes month (kids banner) and May is Fallen month, so I may hold on.
Love Arlen, on of my faves from New Mystery, he's sorta like the Vegeta to Merric's Goku and it's implied he could've easily become another Gharnef if he allowed the hate to fester in his heart but you can recruit him and at least for me he always pulls through as a very decent unit. And I think's pretty neat that Merric and Arlen are meant to be the second generation of Miloah (Linde's father) and Gharnef as two mages that learned together under Gotoh with one excelling while the other became bitter of the other's progress. If Arlen was just a bit more popular I could see a fallen alt for him where he's gone crazy and just wants Merric's head on a silver platter.
Bonus Doubler 4 does at least also have spectrum + 4, so you could still just run the D Counter sacred seal with it. Though D Doubler does free up your sacred seal slot for anything you want.
looking forward to some of the fodder here, the echo has me really curious on who would best use it. I was hoping for maybe more new characters in general.
I actually liked this banner. Caeda and Merric are pretty much must summon for me and it's great to have a more powerful version of them. Yuliya's stats are nice and it's nice to have a non-seasonal version of Seaside Parasol since it's the next best staff after Arcane Charmer and I like the new CC and DC variations.
well DC Bonus Doubler is nice, but not much of a point if BD4 and either DC weapons or DC seal are used. CC Bonus Doubler will be well appreciated, no doubt.

Also given that Yuliya is on the banner, it's extremely likely without even needing to check that the GHB is prolly her brother Jubelo... and then it turns out it's Castor instead, lol, poor Jubelo can't catch a break

D/C Bonus Doubler aren't really strictly better than Prime as you're trading some stats for guaranteed DC/CC, but if you can easily give bonuses to your team, then Prime is still better the better option (unless I'm mistaken lol).
@@Kirbv Oh yeah, forgot about that lol, but the only units who care about +spectrum stats are omni-tanks, and well...they're not in a good spot right now, so focusing on your best stats is better to actually beat your opponents.
Bonus Doubler is infantry locked, that's really the only advantage Prime has over this tbh I'll trade 3 points in 2 stats for +6 in the other two any day of the week. Units running Distant Counter generally want all stats to get raised anyway

Cause against Cavs and Armors it’s basically 100% of her or allies around her total bonuses (so 24 if 6 on everyone) and against Infantry and Fliers it’s less, it’s only 40% or total bonuses (so 9 with 6 on everyone). :0

Jubelo not getting in with his sis is a travesty, but I guess old man Wendell as well since he’s tied to Merric and Arlen. Despite having so many missing units Archanea’s remaining characters are bottom of the barrel lol. Easy skip for me.
IMO, D and C Bonus Doubler are very unlikely to be a big deal in practice. It's very likely infantry only, and infantry EP units - and infantry in general, with a small handful of specific exceptions like Nabata Igrene - are supremely screwed in the current meta, this won't save them. Prime also wasn't that good, because you had to build a good chunk of a team's worth of support around it for most units, and even if you did, it still struggled to be consistently active thanks to usually having a need to have multiple units position properly or dance a unit and get out of the way to have it up (And the Thief girl just cancels it completely in AR, too - she's rare, but not nonexistent). This is the best DC on units that are already stacking buffs, but, with how close to impossible EP is right now, and with stuff like Miasma being not exactly rare, I expect the impact it'll make to be negligible.
Id say Caeda is good but she doesnt have Null C Disrupt in her kit so until she gets that from either an Echo skill or if we ever see Null C Disrupt Sacred seal she will forever be dogged on by Duo Lyon just like every other unit in the game.
"New heroes" you say... Prime is rather overhyped and lackluster, the conditions are not easy to meet on its own. Doing my best to stack F2P orb, no reason to spend beyond fodder at this point. Looking for more Muspell or Regna Ferox, then maybe card gets used.

Flat, not pierecable DR% against Armor/Cavs, and 40% pierceable brave DR% against Infantry/Flying
