This is an excellent tutorial! Thank you, you solved several of my problems that I had not had luck finding solutions for, and gave me a lot of new ideas to think about implementing as well as better methods of working. My hat is off to you!
Thanks very much! Yes, you can definitely box-model stylised characters of any sort. That's how things always used to be done before 3D sculpting became a viable option. The benefit of sculpting is that it allows you to focus on the form without getting bogged down in the technicalities of creating good topology. Once the form is good, you can then build good topology over the top.
