Michelle Ang, the actress who plays Omega, is from New Zealand, although she has lived mainly in the United States. It's quite ironic, knowing that Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett/All Clones) is also New Zealander. The reason she pronounces the Bad Batch names like this must be because she had to maintain her New Zealand accent.
Omega is one of those characters where you think ugh not her again but then as the story progresses she really grows on you and you start to really like her character Much like ahsoka tano i think

I find it funny how Americans are Roasting another nationality for how they speak the English language 🤣🤣🤣🤣 1. They butcher it themselves 2. Dee Bradley Baker does a Poor imitation of her accent which is more accurate to real life so they perceive it as wrong
Dee's imitation of the kiwi accent sounds more Australian if they lived in America for a few years. It'll always be weird to me how fascinated people (mainly Americans) are with simple accents

Long story short, she and Jesse were on a mission or something with two regs and they all got ambushed with Luna captured by Separatists which freeze her up in a cell for 5 days and this one like slowed/stopped her aging. BB gets intel but they only get her age, gender, and location but they progressively learn that she’s an enhanced Jedi. Then when they go in, Tech’s like “guys we gotta hurry she’s dying” and then they get her out while she’s unconscious and wounded then she’s resting in the Marauder, she gets offered to join and she accepts and she’s been with them since
