Thank you!
I needed so bad as I'm starting to print 3D models (mainly Star Trek ships) and some figures.
I'm also glad for the review you did on this self contained airbrush. I love that you can have loaded bottles of paint ready to go and swap out. Especially for primer and paint used for a lot of coverage.
Once again, I can't wait to get the Black Widow! Thanks for all you do for us here sir!
Congratulations dude!!
I truly appreciate the devotion, time, effort, not to mention the expense that you devote to this hobby. I have learned much from your videos and sometimes I feel just hitting the like button is not enough for showing you my gratitude!
I don't do model working, but I do make my own projects. I have a portable airbrush that I think is pretty good as is, but this one I like. It covers a larger area faster than mine and works well with results that are more than good enough for my needs. I think I may seriously consider getting one of these.
looks good for priming and or base coating
So happy to see you nearing the 100k, yes you do sound busy , hope your wife doing well,I'm in a bit of a bad way atm myself so I sympathise 💯, my blood work has not been good for a while because of that and pain from fibromyalgia and carpal in my hands an infection I have had a few falls most recent fell head first on my coffee table and fractured one of my 3 crumbling t sections of my spine send my best wishes to your wife and don't forget to take care of yourself ❤
Thanks for the quick video and the time an effort you put into are videos Robert
Thanks for the review. Great work as always
Congrats to the winner. What an interesting way to paint, thanks for the video.
Congrats to winner. What a crazy stuff,im curious to test this spraygun. Thanks Big bro Bob
Interesting concept Rex! Thanks for sharing 😎👍
Congrats Justin!!!
Congrats to the winner. Great review of a different type of airbrush.
Thanks for this review, Rex.
New to airbrushing, thanks for all your tips and info.
It's always interesting to see you testing these products that are unique to us all. ... p.s. hoping your wive recovers quickly!
nice tool, thx for showing us
It did look to spray paint pretty well. But I kept thinking it's kind of large and awkward looking, also over priced me. Thanks for the video Robert.
Oh yeah congrats JM on winning the Black Widow air brush
nice review cant wait to see the New Clear Colors 😁🤩scooter😎ps take care my friend🤗😋
Cool air brush, I will stay with the standard though, thanks for showing us!
Congrats to the winner
Congratulations to the winner
Congrats Justin!! Not to crazy about this tool. A lot of money for plastic. Thank you for the video.
Thank you!
This might be my first tool review. LOL.
Congratulations Justin!
Thank you!
CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN🎉
Thank you!
Like the tri color paints
that is awesome airbrush
Congrats Justin! I can definitely see appeal for this airbrush for a few use cases, though I do question the longevity (I can't help it, it's a long standing gripe against devices with integral batteries - when the battery goes, it's e-waste)
People new who are new to the hobby and don't have anything, for $100-$150 it's actually fairly compelling plus it's very simple - You need the kit, some pre-thinned / ready to spray primer, paint, and top coat and to charge it. That's it, that's a lot less intimidating than having to learn how to set the air pressure on the compressor, adjust it on the fly, setup the air brush, clean the airbrush between colors and after you use it, etc.
I could see this being a massive time saver for people who are into tabletop, especially if they make terrain. Being able to quickly swap colors on the fly, plus everything being self contained would be a major advantage
The fact that it's so compact is a plus for people who are limited on space, it's much easier to pack up and store than having the compressor, hose, airbrush, etc. and the paints.
Etsy shops / 3D printers / print on demand shops might find a lot of use for something like that depending on what they print / paint
Thank you very much!
congrats. to the winner
thats wild !!😂
As gimmicky as it is, it seems to be quite usefull for car model building, where one has to constantly change between matte and glossy black and one or two metal colors. Just keep those in that, and quickly pick up what you need. Leave the "proper" airbrush for the body and other smaller finishing details.
Another amazing tip and product I've never heard about. Many Thanks!
This is what I was thinking. I'm constantly painting things aluminum or flat black or titanium. Would be nice to just swap them out quickly and then just use my air brush for the oddball colors and clear coat
Congratulations to the winner.
Thank you!
Jajaja justo la reseña que esperaba. Tiene mucho que ya lo había visto y si quería ver está reseña para animarme a comprarlo.
Aún que la versión de sparmax es mucho mejor 😅
Nice Maiden flask! 🤘🏼😂
i think ill be getting one
I have that Black Widow trigger gun!
I just found your channel, I would love to learn how to airbrush, but I can't afford anything right now so I'm going to watch and learn and keep working and saving up for a airbrush starter kit, thank you so much for making these videos, have a great day.😁😁
@barbatosrex9472 me?
Oh man. That would drive me crazy with that noise
I kinda like the not having to clean it for the color change
Like you said; you would likely use it as a primer to cover large areas. Or 1 color going over most of the model. It's not a bad design
Now I want a battery powered Swallowtail.
Just a quick suggestion, when you try out airbrush, can you also show how well the airbrush does at painting super thin straight lines in low pressure. Thanks for the video!
i assume the idea behind the dropper cap is that you would put your paints into that cup, and then keep it in there and use the dropper for brush applications when using say a wet pallet or dry brushing etc instead of having two separate pots of paint.
I'm with @Squanto22. I could see myself keeping and storing primers, clear coats, cleaners and water in those bottles.
Will the big 100k giveaway be open to your European subs?
Love your tool vids
I think its pretty innovating. Biggest headache is keeping the airbrush clean and unclogged.
Great video. +1 SUB
I have decided to get this thing after having wanted a Sparmax Flyer for a long time. (similar concept, but requires a "real" compressor. but the company stopped making/selling them) Rattlecans are a pain for priming in my local climate and are a big reason i don't paint more miniatures. I think this thing, as overpriced as it may be, is perfect for bulk priming without the ungodly hassle of a normal airbrush-compressor combo.
Instant item, tricolors look awesome would would I have to order them from splash direct when you do finalize the formula
Yes they'll be handling the sales end. I hope to show them off within a few weeks
wow for 99$ is pretty pricey, for a starter i'm still saving for cheap compressor ~75$ in my country, and some chinese airbrush. but it's a really really late in my bucket wishlist, hahaha
keep up the goodwork sir, pretty much nice review, giving insight about something that's available online but doubted to buy.
This looks pretty neat, a little over priced, but if someone was getting into the hobby this might be a nice way to start. It seems to be more geared for miniature painting (the advertising show gunpla tho), because I could see them having a few colors always ready of adding to an army, that also explains the dropper caps.
Once you collect all the airbrushes and now you need something else to collect at least there is portable airbrushes 😂
Good test Robert. Do you have any update on your water based acrylic paint line? Have a great day.
Still working on them. I just tested the first batch and it's pretty good, we just want it better
You're a new paint are they are pre- thin also I like your video nice work
Congrats to Justin. This came up on my notifications at 2 Minutes to Midnight....hmmmm.
I hope your wife gets well soon.
Amazon has them listed as "frequently returned..."
I'm shocked lol
Hey, I just found your RUclips channel and are finding your videos very helpful. I live in US, and it seems to be harder to get my hand on Mr.hobby Aqueous, so i decide to pick Mr.color the lacquer paint instead (Although I don't know what are the exact Pro/Con). And I start to realise that it is not easy get all the color from one brand. I am considering getting some of the Lacquer paint from brand like Tamiya LP. I understand that I cant mix aqueous(Alcohol )with Mrcolor(Lacquer ) or with acrysion(water).
I should be able to mix Mr.color with Tamiya LP or MRP ? Anything that is Lacquer?
Second question is, I can see that you are extremely skillful so almost all paint in your hands doesn't affect how you perform. But what about normal airbrush painter or even beginners, how does Acrysion(Water)/Aqueous(Alcohol)/Mr.color(Lacquer) affect people that is not nearly as skillful as you are?
Third question is, What is the difference between paint from Mr.hobby(A well known high quality brand) and other "cheaper" brand, are they harder to use or have lower quality paint? Why are they cheaper?
Thankyou for reading.
An advantage is that it is very portable.
Good looking gun but I just recieved your air gun and I'm sure to get use to it and order others.
@barbatosrex9472 did I win the give away
At 20:01 you did not 'pop' open the lid before spraying.
Did you forget or was it not required for the clear orange paint?
Wow! I like. But as you have said, I have a full setup (4 brushes, 2 booths, and a decent compressor) so it would not be something I'd pick up. That being said, this would be GREAT if you were painting something in bulk or for professional use.
They've got replacement bottles _with_ replacement nozzles?! That's a big up over the mini spray gun.
That looks like the G-Controller from Gundam X.
Actually, I think the mfg went the extra mile by supplying the better, nozzle style caps as you can carefully pour out small amounts of the same paint into your traditional airbrush if you need to do some detailing work with the same color (i.e. camo edging after spraying the larger areas with the Actekart brush. And I wonder if that digital counter is actually a battery percentage indicator, since it appears to start at 100 (as in 100 percent)?
Not bad for priming 🤷♂️
Congrats Justin! @Robert - how is your wife doing???
Hi, just wanted to know, your giveaways, are they U.S. only?
All of that noisy clicking with that button would drive me up the wall. Other than that, it'd be pretty cool for primers and base coats. 👍
Hi, I´m interested in the no name mini gun..... can you share the link? thanks
Congrats Justin.
I just looked this airbrush kit up on Amazon Australia and for the unit + bottle/nozzle kit you are looking at over $320AUD!
Looks interesting and I can see the convenience but not for that price especially if you already have a proper airbrush setup.
Robert did you see they have another unit that you plug markers (they mention gundam markers) into the back of the unit and it sprays the marker paint out? Again not cheap. $177.99AUD
Yep you are right Razor2401, we seem to get ripped off with most of the modelling supplies here in Australia compared with US. Limited suppliers and high prices
@@allanlowe9346 I guess it’s the downside of living on a giant island at the bottom of the world. At least we can enjoy sms paints locally without the scalper prices 😊
atleast you can buy more bottles for this one, unlike that "needle bottle" one you showed a while back.
Congrats Justin.
After your review it's now sold out! Wonder if it can handle 2K clear?
I'd say it should handle 2K fine. 2k likes to go on a bit heavy as it is
Everything is going re chargeable.
I'll stick with a good quality airbrush thank you. I thought I'd seen it all, what were they thinking ?
Interesting unit. It could be useful for priming and changing colors quickly, but all that noise is a bit bothersome🥴
Where can I get the florecen panel liners that where shown in the show some time ago ?
@@barbatosrex9473 thank you 🙏🏼
It seems like it's a nice set up but I don't see myself buying it exsesley for the price
Mr Color and Tamiya are some of the easiest paints to use. Acrysion is the worst. That particular one is primarily for brushing on by hand. Check out my video on how to thin every type of paint. That will help you too
I don't think I would ever want another rechargeable compressor
All I have to do is wait 1759 more hours? I better supercharge my laptop and order some coffee.
I already got the sparmax flyer with the glass bottle with built in nozzle thing that I use for primers and base coats and I believe it is cheaper cause it doesn't have batteries. Edit. Nevermind looks like they stopped making the Flyer
They just recently released a new "SR-2" Flyer model, although it only seems to be available in Japan right now. I figure it's only a matter of time until it reaches the rest of the world though.
Interesting, I only see a use if you are going to airbrush somewhere where you have no access to a compressor
@23:28 ....wait...its dual action? I'll rewind to check....but if you can control air flow and paint release like a dual action...i might be in on it
Yes dual action, I couldn't believe it either
@@barbatosrex9473 that's pretty great and could be useful. Gonna add to a list and keep an eye on it and the additional cartridges
Proud Patreon member commenting to support the video and the channel. Hope your wife’s physical therapy is going well. Be well be. You
If it was given to me I would use it for primers but I wouldn't necessarily buy it myself.
This does not really appeal to me. But it would make for a nice traveling airbrush I suppose. Something you can take with you on a trip to occupy yourself during downtime.
One thing I don't like, the trigger noise 🙂
It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it is worth the price. For what they are charging, you could get a budget airbrush kit that comes with a real compressor.
Sorry the area code was 520 not 502
I am concerned about the long term reliability of this product. I have purchased several rechargeable products; desk lamps, mini vacuum cleaner, air gun, etc. they all failed within 12 months.
Gadget is the correct word. Kind of clunky, noisy and pricy. I'll stick to my Gaahleri. Interesting video though.
Lol. No. What a hassle.
It seems to be kinda noisy
I know you have been working on preventing this but I just got a scam message stating I won and to text a 502 area code number. Just thought I would let you know the scammers are still active
XD
The buzzing was highly annoying!!
Hey, I emailed your gmail. I thought I won the airbrush but maybe it was a bot trying to trick me?
Scam, I announced the winner on camera always
@@barbatosrex9473 well shucks, sad I didn’t win but thankful I didn’t get caught by the scammers! Thank you!
Not for me, too oversized plus there nothing like the work of a air compressed airbrush.
This is the exact dumb, expensive, unnecessary gadget I can see myself buying
Heard you wouldn't buy it. I'll be the little devil on your shoulder telling you to buy it.
