Good question, I would say there is definitely a growing longing for true Christianity (aka. Orthodoxy) in Norway.
At the same time, however, a nihilism is spreading throughout our cities. And the powers that be are trying their best to hide and censor any hope of genuine meaning (Christianity) being restored to my people. Despite this, I do believe that with the power of Christ almighty there will always be hope even for a nation so confused and dissolution as mine is.
I do believe God is working towards the salvation of the Scandinavians, as he does with all the nations. I can especially see good working with the people around me.
I, grew up as an evangelical Christian and have only in the last couple of years started to see the false presumptions and the empty “supposed” historical-‘continuity’ on which Christian evangelicalism stands.
I know at least 20 people in my near circle of friends and family that “indirectly” feel the same as me. I don't want to push them hastily, but I hope to do my part to lead them towards orthodoxy on day.
And by the grace of God, I do dream of a day when my people reconnect to their old Christian heritage and become orthodox. For all my faults I hope it to come true, if God wills it. :)
