I agree the prices they put on these pieces are laughable but then some idiot comes along and pays it everytime! Wonder if they think it's gonna be worth more one day cause it was on this show? Makes no sense to me.
This show is a spin off of a British show. I like it, but I find is blasphemous when they take beautiful antique pieces and turn them into shabby chic.
Heru- deshet I used to think so too, until I found Jay Blades (found him on British TV!). He breaks down that point of view pretty well in his own words, and tactfully spins antiques into amazing works of art!! ( his insta is Jay_n_co )
