- Deer hunting is done and the 4wheeler is back at The Farmhouse. Putting the Moose plow on the 4wheeler and putting on tire chains. Melissa is down in Louisiana painting the interior house walls. Thanksgiving alone but a delicious meal. Tv in the kitchen. Getting a few other things done before my trip to Louisiana.
Boy, Joe. You sure are a Jack of all trades! You can cook, clean like a pro, fix anything, put together anything, maintain your property and vehicles, grow a garden, make furniture, fish and hunt. I wonder what can't you do! I am certainly envious of your energy! Your place looks great! You and Melissa have done a lot of good, hard work!
You should have gotten a swivel tv mount for the wall, that way you could pull it out from the wall and swivel it in the direction you wanted. You are a rare person, you are a good husband and a good man.

Nothing like the Holidays for stuff to do ! A old cooking trick for duck my grandmother would do is marinate duck 2 hrs in blueberries doesn't taste blueberry but takes the wild taste off. Merry Christmas!!

Still living my life vicariously through you buddy! I shattered my femur at work on October 3rd went to the docs have to go back in two months until then stay off it! In New Hampshire had our first plowable storm my sons came over and hooked up the plow! I can't even bring in firewood because I'm holding up these crutches, keep the videos coming Joe they are a bright time in my miserable life👍

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been working from home since March and I look forward to those notifications too. Once the new video plays, I just leave Joe on all day in the background. I’m probably responsible for a good chunk of his increased viewing stats 😇

I love his winter tent videos. Especially when he first arrives and cleans out the stove and gets it started. Then he walks you through the process of heating the tent up. I don't know what I like about it. There's just something so relaxing in his routine.

Ahhh...Jim Reeves. I haven't heard that song in a while. When I was a kid my dad had a Jim Reeves 8 Track he would play quite a bit. That one and the Statler Brothers. Brings back some good memories. Safe travels down to LA.
Just say "Alexa... Play 60s country music" . We have an Alexa in the bathroom. Thats what I say and I get some good music.

He had regular flu last Christmas and was 100 times worse with that than this virus! He's the 12 year old that watches y'all with me when he's here- which is just about all the time- LOL! I don't know how you cope with dragging all this stuff around Minnesota. It boggles me dragging this up and this down and hooking this up and unhooking this and taking this here and that there. I'd be completely nuts after all that. Not to mention 7 months of winter. omg... I'd just keel over.. I can't take 3 months give or take fall or spring weather coming late or early. I have spring temps March, Apr, May and fall temps, Oct, Nov It's cold Dec, Jan, and Feb. the rest of the year is pretty nice. here in TN. You have my respect. I live in a valley and we get spared the worst of everything. TY to the weather Gods. Some people like to make fun of Appalachia. Well it is the safest place to be if you live in the south. We rarely get hurricanes or snow.
The guys a human dynamo; he cooks, does chores that would take an average person months to do and still has time to think of the best way for him and Melissa to plough :)

I vote for a white cabinet in the bathroom. When it matches your commode and sink, the room will look bigger. You can store towels, toilet paper etc in the bottom. Your toiletries up top.

Those chains can be a headache. Sometimes on my tractor for putting chains on, I sometimes let the air out of the tire, put the chains on and air the tire up. Adding air a lot of times helps the chains to get tighter. Just a thought. Merry Christmas!
I put a piece of short tyi strap tied in a 4" loop on the plow .stops front breaking end off of cable .gives it a bit of spring .or you will break the cable

Joe I mounted a plow in my snow bucket on the tractor witch saves a lot of time and I have a granite driveway 1/4 mile long. What I did on the cutting edge of the plow was took a black gas pipe cut a 1/4 “ lined all the way through the pipe and pounded it all the way down the cutting edge. I took two cotter pin‘s drilled a hole on each end and holds it good. I don’t have an granite piles or torn up grass in the spring.

yes a white cabinet to match in the bathroom and the other pieces would be better I think, keep it co-ordinated. Thinking more about it, maybe an old wooden dresser with white basin might suit the look of the house.

Lol I don't doubt you would have women lining up at your door nothing is too much trouble for you, you work hard both at home and at your job, there is nothing you will not attempt to do or fix and you are a good cook as well not to mention your cleaning. Stay safe in all your travels.
Leave the shoes off the plow. Throw a 100lb bag of deer corn on the back rack to help with traction. Or double your intake of pork steaks! Haha and an easy homemade way of lifting that plow better is to bolt on a pulley to center of front rack, run winch up thru pulley and then down to plow. Enjoy the warm weather down south!

Hey joe I started watching your videos for about a year now really enjoy them I even have made taco hot dish a couple of times we like it. I’m sure you know about these but was gonna mention a windbreaker for your farmall m. They don’t work to bad at least it keeps the wind off of ya if you get a windshield with it also keeps the motor warmer and helps keep the hydraulics warmer. I see them online and at any farm store they aren’t to bad in price I always think of that when you move snow with it,again enjoy your videos always watching for a new one

Lol personally I’d just stay there till March lol if you do happen to look into one you’ll pry want one the you enter the back from I know you can get the them from any case IH dealer too you’ll pay more for it but it will fit your tractor like it’s supposed to. In Iowa we have bomgaars store that have them they are cheaper and don’t seem to work to bad either enjoy the nice weather done there can’t wait to see the next video

Enjoyed watching your video. I think the farmed duck available in the grocery stores is amazing these days. The growers do a really good job with the birds. I like to buy frozen duck breasts and they are tasty.
I agree Mindy. I prefer the dark meat like the thighs and legs but even the breast on a duck is quite dark. It is all delicious.
Hello Joe, another awesome video. Just a suggestion, but I bought a 98 Artic Cat 400 4x4 before deer season. I had my cousin help me wire up a Sylvania LED light on the back. Mounted it to the back rack and ran a button to the front. So I can turn it on and off. It makes it so much better seeing what is behind you in the dark. Just a suggestion.
