I have the 2.0 tdie a6 2009 sline colour sat n av screen with no joystick on the button so I think it's 2g I have a pic of software code I can't post here though and I can't find much info on it or updating it :(
+Andrew Mcgowan that's not a problem because this car had the same Satnav Colour without joystick that's also the MMI 3G but Basic withoud HDD. Normally when you activate in 17- instruments you get the long coding opened and then you have to activate Lap timer( includes turbo and oil). What cable do you use?

Well you have to code that, when enabling the Lap Timer, you get the Oil Temp and Boost Meter with it.
+BelminAudi tried it today with vcds but it didn't have the option :(
+Andrew Mcgowan what engine do you have? And this works only on the A6 4F, the A4 and A5 don't have the boost meter to activate
