Hello man, i'm very very proud that a foreign player knows our games and above all that he is using Sicilian cards! Small note: here often prefer to play the Piramide with the card in the 1-6 lines faced down, and with the last line of 7 cards faced up. Regards from SICILY!
That’s a very cool variation, I’m definitely going to try it! Sicilian cards are a cut above the rest, so the choice is an easy one. I appreciate the nice comment, grazij!
I just had this exact thought today! I just moved to Italy and I've ended up with a Piacentine deck and I was wondering if something like solitaire existed so I could get used to the cards. That reminds me: I definitely want a video where you discuss all the different regional Italian decks.
Amazing thanks! The Piacentine deck is my second favorite one, after the Sicilian one, of course. There is another version of Italian Solitaire that I filmed, hopefully I can share it this fall. I absolutely do want to do a video on all the regional decks. It’s expensive to buy all of them, which I would want to do. Maybe I’ll do it after the holidays as a present to myself. Thanks for watching!
I’m so happy to hear that you are playing with your family, that’s why I made these. I’ll do my best to get some new videos out. Thanks for the support!
Hope you'll be back someday with more videos! I just discovered your channel yesterday and I've since watched them all! Unmatched quality, your hard work is appreciated. Originally came for a refresher on Scopa, but I've learned so much more now
Thanks so much for the nice encouragement! Thanks also for appreciating the work that goes into them. I really enjoy making these, although they are very time consuming side project! I'll have a new video up shortly.
Love your videos. Thanks for the professional style and clear explanations. Subscribed. I bought an Italian deck to play Scopa with and found your videos to explain the game, we were up and running in minutes. Addictive game for sure, now to try the Pyramide. I bought one of the Modiano “Extra” decks, nice thick cards.
Yes, you’re 100% correct. You only go through the deck once, unlike regular solitaire. However, also unlike regular solitaire, you go one card at a time, giving yourself 19 chances to clear the pyramid. Hope that helps, it’s a great solitaire variation that never gets old. Thanks for watching!
Hi Chris. Not sure if there's a best way to contact you but I'm loving the videos, and I'd love to chat with you about Italian card games for a book I'm working on about games round the world. If there's a best way to drop you a line and you're interested, please let me know!
you've tripled (trebled?) your subscriber base in 2 posts ... and I just received my first deck of Italian cards in the mail today (and do they make me feel like a klutz!)
Thanks for watching! Congrats on jumping into Italian style cards. Solitaire is a great way to get used to them, you’ll be a pro at identifying the kings from the Fante in no time!
I don’t have enough subscribers to be unavailable yet 😂. Seriously though I enjoy getting the comments and learning from everyone, so much appreciated!
Loooove your dry humor and deadpan delivery, keep going these videos are great !
Thanks so much, I’ll do my best to get some more out in the new year. Thanks for the support!

Honestly the best channel I've found on RUclips! I've learnt so much from you
Thank you so much 🙏!!!
The care and quality that is put into these videos is unmatched for this type of niche playing card content. Keep up the good work!

Weird, earlier today I was wondering when you were going to post next. Also amazing video keep making them.
Thanks for watching, it means a lot! They’re a labor of love and I’m a bit slow on making them, but I’ll keep at it.
Thumbs up 👍
Good tutorial 😎

Thanks for the nice comment! I'm glad to hear that you picked up some Italian cards. Keep those games alive!
I didn't know this game
Thanks for the explanation 👍
Thanks so much for watching!
Great video! Would love to see the video for the stacking solitaire. Have you shared one yet?
Just finishing it up now, stay tuned!
Such an awesome video to help, question though, I only go through the deck once right? Not like regular solitaire where you go back through ?

Great video Chris 👍 I notice that italian decks are very perfect to be used to play gap solitaire. Since it takes up less space than using poker decks
Yes very true. I love them for that. 52 card solitaires can get very messy. I usually bring the mignon (mini) Italian deck on trips. Thanks!
Thanks for the information!
would a spanish 50 carta deck work too?
I’ve never tried that. Let me know if it works. Thanks for watching!

Do you only go through the deck once?
Yes, only one shot.
When one uses standard bridge deck it's easier to remove Js, Qs and Ks, so all cards will have their value shown 😜
True, but all good Italian games need to be a little complicated 😂
good video ps you look like clara
Thanks for watching! Nana loved this version of solitaire btw.
You’re awesome. Haha
You too, thanks for watching!
i’ve played this sooo many times and never won. i’ve gotten down to 1 card once
Keep at it, you’ll get it yet!
🎉
I don’t think there has ever been a comment that play in games has never replied to
