Excellent work, Mark! Thanks for sharing! Im going to be attempting to upholster 4 vintage Woodmark Originals 7/16/93 barrel chairs, very similar in shape, except they have tufted back and legs on swivel ball casters. I'd like to redo these in suede or velvet fabric. Do you recommend one over the other for this application, as I am a beginner at this?
Excellent! I've been making my second chair (just the frame so far) and have been put off going any further when i discovered it's going to cost me about £70 just for the foam. Now i can see i don't need so much foam and i have a roll of this beige strapping stuff left over from my 1st chair, perfect!
Love this!! I’m going to attempt to reupholster a used chair I got. Similar shape, but it’s a vintage swivel desk chair. Your video was extremely helpful, except I don’t understand one part, if you wouldn’t mind explaining. At around the 18 minutes, 40 second mark when you’re going down that front edge.
I have two chairs that I don't let anyone sit in but the fabric is shredding I can't bring myself to get rid of them they were gifts I know they're worth a lot of money and I'd like them refurbished but I'm afraid I'll screw it up. Thank you for posting
WOW!!!!

Totally enjoyed watching you work your magic.

Great video, but it would be nice if you put subtitles to tell us what materials you are using.
So comprehensive and what a craftsman. Thanks for the ideas 😊
