Great review and crisp sound Evan, can this also be use as a wireless mic connected to a speaker via AUX IN or Bluetooth? Planning to use it in a class so my hands are free during demonstrations than holding a mic on one hand which is troublesome. Your feedback will help big time! Keep safe and healthy always.
I just got them today... can't wait to start to use them❤ thanks for this video, i was already sold to them but i'm trying to get all the info and feedback from who use them in a professional way as you do! 🙏🏻
Thanks for this video, i think this mics sound better than DJI and Rode too. I’ve just received mine today and i can’t wait to record videos and hear the difference with the iPhone mic 😃
In terms of audio quality, I actually feel that Rode and DJI wireless mics are a bit better than Hollyland. However, when it comes to user experience, they outperform Hollyland by a long shot.
No, that technique usually results in a thin sounding recording. Placing on the collar or top of shirt captures more of the low tones and a fuller sound from being close to the neck/chest. It’s also less prone to picking up wind noise.
I experienced one thing waired about this Mic I was shooting and the Mic 1 battery low cos I was unable to take a charger along with me on that Set and the Mic went off when my brother brought me the charging caseand I put the mic in there to charge there was no charging indicator light on I brought it out and I used direct type C charger to charge it directly there was no sign of charging atall I tried every possible ways I know but all in vain so I later put it back into the the charging Case and I left it there till next day there interval will be like 27hrs later immediately I opened it to check it again suddenly ithat mic 1 came up and started charging again.I don't know why? Is it becos it has been fully exhausted? and why it took it so long to charge again? Any experience and explanation will help thanks
Hi Evan I have an off topic question I shot flog 2 h.265 10 bit and uploaded it to resolve free version and I’m only getting audio. I have installed countless versions of hevec encoders but nothing seems to work. I’ve been researching for over a month now but it’s still nothing other than buying full resolve version is the only option Should I just switch to premier pro monthly sub or just throw away my camera I’m super frustrated
I believe that's actually a limitation of the free version of Resolve, with certain 10-bit 4:2:2 media files. Try converting it using Shutter Encoder www.shutterencoder.com/en/
Awesome video, i watched it from beginning to end. Im a nocie at naking vidoes and was wondering if you could suggest a way i can clip the transmitter to my samsung galaxy s23 ultra. I have a stang that i use to shoot content with my phone. However, there is no place to put the clip
Ridiculous, how good your video is! Crisp and still thorough!
Will you be releasing a video about the DJI Mic 2 in the near future? I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the DJI Mic 2.
I really wanna see more comparisons between the lark max and the dji mics
very helpful video Evan. Can you please name the tool where you synced the audio files? I loved how easy it was to sync video with hollyland audio.
All using DaVinci Resolve’s tools. Audio sync via waveform!

Enjoy them! I still love using these to this day

Nice! Enjoy!
If recording outdoors in a smartphone, which gain levels would you set the mic to?

Great review bro!
Cool product. Thanks for sharing it. ✌️
Can you record in stereo with only one transmitter and its output connected to a stereo mic?
You have convinced me to buy this. I think it is exactly what I need.
Someone needs to 3d print a locking mic cage like they did for the rode go 2
If mic visibility isn't an issue, don't you think it would be better to mount it on a baseball visor?

Never experienced this issue before, but glad you got it up and working again!
What level gains on mic would u set if recording on a smartphone?

Do you know how to set ip up with the rodecaster duo?
I've got this sistem and it's the best sound compared to DJI Wireless Mic, Rode Wireless Mics. I love it and it's with me everywhere.
Yes, by far the best sounding, which in my opinion is more important than any other features! Love it.
In Windos 10 Pro don't work for me. Save mode and no view disks. Maybe I ugly model?
hey. great vid. do you know if you can add additional mics?
I’m not sure

Look into the Moment mobile camera cage
Thanks for this! Btw what editor do you use?
@EvanSchnieder
Yup! Resolve
