Antigua was a blast! Back to the DR we go 🤗 FYI... You can find more info on our First Ever GROUP TRIP 👉 trovatrip.com/trip/europe/greece/greece-with-anna-and-trevor--delaney-sep-2024 Stay Delightful ✌- Anna & Trevor
Wow 365 beaches! Think you guys picked a perfect one, the water was so clear. Your hotel seemed very reasonable especially for the location. Another great video guys! ~Cara 😊
Hi guys. Was at Jolly Beach for all inclusive with Sunwing for 7 days about 3 years ago. Cost $1200 per person all included so very reasonable for flight, accomadations, food and drinks which included travel from to airport. Much cheaper as a package. Travelled throughout Antigua on the local bus and the best was the Catamaran circumnavigation trip with Wadaldi Cats around the entire island. Have a safe trip.
Hello Anna & Trevor, Every time I watch one of your videos and hear your welcome music, it takes me on a journey with you. I love this music, I love your videos and especially your sharing about these beautiful islands and the local food. I am following you from Belgium and I will be traveling in a few weeks to the Dominican Republic with my husband and my two sons. We will end our first circuit with 2 nights in Cabarete. It would be cool to meet you there, you never know ;-)
Wow thanks so much! You're going to luv the DR here. Cabarete is amazing! We hope you like it as much as we do and I'm sure you'll see us on the beach 😎 - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers we already felt in love with DR last year after our first time in a All In in Punta Cana, we decided to go back and show this beautifull island to our sons. We rent a car and we visited Santo Domingo, Altos de Chavon, Bayahibe, Punta Cana, Miches, Sabana de la Mar and then Samana Bay with El Valle, Las Galeras, Las Terrenas, Santa Barbara de Samana and a little stop at Rio San Juan then back to Boca Chica before our way back to Santo Domingo and the cold and freezing Belgium 🥶 Then this coming May, we'll do a tour to Constanza, Jarabagua, Santiago de Los Caballeros, Tubagua, Puerto Plata, Cabarete then to the south with Palmar de Ocoa, Paraiso, and Pedernales. All this in 14 days, quite a busy holiday but we really wants to see the most of this island, I think next time will be for the North West and the mountain villages. So now, just waiting for your next video and see you in Cabarete ;-)
Bacon butty just refers to a bacon in buttered bread same as chip butty (chips in buttered bread) bacon roll is just a bacon roll not a bacon roll sandwich, a sandwich is sliced bread. rolls are rounded, but are known by numerous names in the uk, bram, bread cake, roll, bap there’s loads of names depending what area of the uk you live, here in the south i would say rolls or baps and that would refer to a round circular shaped roll, if I wanted cylindrical rolls I would say hotdog roll, sub roll, baguette or baton all slightly different. If you went to a bakery that did bacon by me you would probably get 3 bread options, sandwich(sliced bread), bap(roll) or baguette. Sorry for the long explanation 😂
It's called Darkwood because before tourism came to the island with all these " developers". They were loads of Coconuts, huge Grapes and Mangrove trees on both sides of the road. They provided plenty of shade from the sun, making it looked somewhat DARK. That's why the area is still called DARKWOODS. Hope this explain the name to you. Happy holiday's. Cheers! Hugh
Hi Anna and Trevor we are thinking about heading to the DR for Christmas. As fellow Canadians where should we go for our first time there, we want to stay for two weeks and on the cheaper side not resorts. What would you recommend? which airport is easiest from Edmonton?
Wow that Caribbean water looks so fresh and clean. You guys just loving it. So you guys going back to the DR👏👏👏. But of all the other countries you guys just visited, which one did you like and or enjoyed the most.
I so look forward to my Sunday morning coffee and the Delightful Travelers. We just got back from the Aquamarine last Friday. We had a nice time, but I am determined to make it to Las Terrenas soon and maybe Cabarete - not all inclusive.
Great call on Darkwood Beach, Nelsons Dockyard, and the Tea House - all are wonderful & highly recommended. One other beach that's great is Ffryes Beach, and Little Ffryes Beach. It's just down the road from where you stayed at Jolly Harbor. There is a great restaurant at Ffryes, Dennis Restaurant & Bar. I think they do a BBQ on Saturday & live music on Sunday. The driving on the opposite side of the road gets me everytime we go there too! Safe travels back to the DR!
Great video as always but here’s a question!! I know you’re not in DR right now, but are you concerned about the happenings in Haiti since DR shares a border with Haiti?
Thanks! 😀 We're actually back in the DR now since filming this. Nothing at all has changed here with the Haiti situation. There's no signs of it here and we don't even hear people talking about it. Of course we are thinking of all the Haitians at this time. But remember, It's a very large island and Haiti's main issues are in and around their capital. The DR also has the largest military in the Caribbean plus there are enormous mountains (pico duarte) that separate the countries - Trevor
Cannabis has been decriminalized in Antigua since 2018. You will not be legally penalized for possessing less than 15 grams. Also, Rastafarians have sacramental rights to grow it.

The hotel looked very comfortable. That was a fun fact about the number of beaches 🏝️. Thank you for the budget tips!
Cheers Colleen 😀 Appreciate you watching. Now onto the other 364 beaches - Trevor
