Meet the Doctoral Researcher - Tourism, Travel & Culture

Valeria PIca is an international doctoral research student, currently working on her Ph.D. with the Institute of Travel, Tourism & Culture at the University of Malta.
Her research looks at museology, studying the processes that allow visitors to experience a museum collection, and how they perceive it. The study also requires an understanding of historic palaces, such as the Grandmaster's Palace in Valletta.
