PvP is VERY easy if you have the right loadout.
I've been playing PvP for a while, and right now, I think this is the best loadout for it:
Cowboy (Without Gold). It's upgrades and base cost is cheaper than the gold version. Although yes, gold cowboy makes more cash, the normal one is more efficient with economy in the early game.
Shotgunner, Incase if they send enemies at the beginning. If you have pyro with gold, you need shotgunner, if you dont have gold, then you don't need to bring it.
Pyro, Early hidden detection. Wave 7 is the best wave to spam hiddens to your opponents, which can be very brutal without pyro.
Engineer, for DPS if you are heading towards late game. If you don't have engineer, use Minigunner (Gold or not)
The 5th tower slot could be any support, just not farm though.
For the gameplay, just don't send enemies in the beginning, focus on placing cowboys to lvl 2. When wave 7 is about to come, place a pyro. At wave 7, if their tower's weak with hiddens, spam the hidden enemies.
If they do manage to defend it, try spamming breakers, necromancers, bolts, or hidden bosses later on, they are usually tough to beat when spammed a lot.

No I’ve used a better lodout (in my opinion) gold cowboy (it actually does make more money than the normal one) golden pyro for early enemy spam and hiddens. Dj for discounts later on, engineer becuase it’s very good dps after the buff and frost blaster for good stall
farm, commander, DJ, golden scout and golden pyro is a much better combo imo
there is no need to bring any expensive towers in PVP

At wave 7, you can stall forever
For eco you go normal, shadow or tough, then breakers and shadows. Breakers are the best value, but they spawn fast so you will want to spawn other units for better eco.

Please just no, just stop suggesting obvious things like that. we already know tds is gonna add that. It's already a spit in the face for tower battles. Co-op PvP and 4v4's would just be salt in the wound. Leave tb alone.

only reason why an eco system like this worked in btdb is because the monkeys has PIERCE, which is something most tds towers dont have.
Some of the best towers in pvp are Demo (surprisingly), and any freeze tower in the game, most notably Cryo and Frost Blaster if you have it. If your opponent starts ecoing immediately, you're absolutely losing hp and possibly lose if you don't have any good CC early on.
I legit won without placing any towers just spamming normals.

Still cant believe that like 90% of the players dont know you can send zombies and then accuse you of admin abuse when they see the tons of normals
it’s because its still labeled as the consumable box, first game I honestly had to ask my opponent how to send lol 💀
i thought that the zombie sending feature was gonna be in the full release. I only realized that it was the consumable box when i was like "wait can i use consumables in pvp?"

I had a pretty fun encounter in PvP
I was using G-cowboy too, but I never got any to level 3, and so my opponent sent a big rush of hiddens. So I sold some cowboys and got a level 3 cowboy, almost completely negating his whole rush.
Later on, he only really had G-pyro, accel, and a couple level 3 elf camps. I had a krillion dollars from all my cowboys, so I spent it all on a couple slow bosses and enough Breaker4s to make a max level mortar cry. He said "I'm cooked man, GG." shortly before the massive wave of breakers folded him like an omelet. Was pretty fun, but I might not play it much till full release.
Also if you're not using G-cowboy, you better have another excellent plan, I feel like it's gonna be in the meta.
Instead of defending wave 1 just spam normals and speedies wave 1 and 2 :p
@@thefogiscomingreal This advise was mostly for people who agree, whether verbally or silently, to not spam at the beginning. And by silently agreeing, I mean simply not spamming.

Pyro would probably be one of the choices in early game with just the amount of enemies you could send XP
I recommend using either jester+ gpyro or shotgunner for early the only flaw about this game mode is that on wave 20 u can easily win if ur opp uses engineer (most ppl do) they die to hidden bosses and also the fact u can't spam normal imo they should make normals spammable and hidden bosses not spammable (i played 2 games so far and won everyone of them by spamming shadow bosses) tip: place ur defense at the back bc u then will kill enemies slower and not let the opp get good eco cuz cooldown thingy exsists

I think gladiator will be beast here for good crowd damage against rushes and cheap so you can be on the offensive at the start and control the tempo.

gladiator sucks against wave 7 on this mode, you won't be able to get warrior's call before normal boss apears

Corso theres a PVP glitch that when a summoner spawn or a breaker dies, the enemy and you get the thing that summoned
Probably worth noting the breaker bug, whenever a breaker gets killed on one map the lower level of that breaker appears on both maps

PvP one of the most things u can play rn (Maybe cause i am only lvl 250), if you use a loudout like pyro, cowboy (very better if golden), accel, dj and commander is free win. Its like spam lvl 2 cowboys them get 1 per 1 lvl 4.

fun fact: PVP ON BLUE TEAM SUCKS when a breaker breaks in to a smaller one on red team it also spawns one on blue team its kinda funny how much you can screw yourself over

What i use to get wins is tons of breakers (cuz they're glitchy) and necromancers along with lots of bolts when they get overwhelmed
If they can implement a ranked version of PVP by which you can get ranks and move up a leader board. PVP can be big.
There is a bug in pvp which is sometimes the blue breaker spawns at the middle at the track with 15 hp, being close at the end and being fast can make you lose if you have your defense in front of you
If you send Breakers or Necromancers, the enemies that spawn on their side will mirror onto your side for some reason.
It's probably a bug, that's why you had so many Breakers on your side
So far I've found that brawler cowboy and pyro work really well here
I in testing breakers when the other team kills breakers at anywhere on there map it will also spawn on your map which is super annoying
to balance the pvp system, i think players should be pick to banned tower and repick loadout before start the wave
ive seen many players uses gladiator and g pyro because they are dominate for early to mid wave

I kind of hope that PvP mode would give players randomized loadouts for every match. If they don't do this, then every player would bring meta towers like gold cowboy and accelerator and things would get wayyyyy too linear and repetitive just like tower battles's PvP.
It's a good addition but I think that making the zombies more expensive for like every uh 20 times ig bought would make it more ballanced and less spam based, idk tho

They should make the PVP like this: So, it should be 2 players. One uses the enemies, and the other one uses towers. The Defense starts off with 1,000 cash, and earns money like regular mode. On the other hand. The second player that has the enemies, when starting, the player should start with 600 cash like normal. The enemies could cost upwards of $30. The stronger the enemy, the more expensive it gets and the stronger enemy can make the player a lot of money when either killed or when it has passed through the defense, (note: when earning cash (Offense) cannot place any enemies when round is still running). There should be a color coded template (Player can decide which color to represent its defense/offense.) Also! When going to play PVP: When starting, it should first ask what the player wants to be? either offense or defense. If the player selected Defense, then it should only pair it with an offense. This also goes to if he/she selected Offense, then therefore the same thing, and offense paired with an available defender. I hope they do update it like this and should make the background more exciting, not only that, they could probs in the future, instead of 1v1, it could be a 4v4 (offense vs defense players.) At the end of the round: if Defense has defeated all of the offense attacks, as a result, it has won the game (Only when it is the last wave or the players could maybe add as many rounds of their choice but should have a limit) If the offense has made it through like traditional game, then therefore the offense takes victory.
I also think they should add another one: This first starts when the player goes into this mode (War/Military mode) . When chose to do Defense or offense, if it chose defense then therefore it pairs it up with defensive players only, once it has done that when it reaches full 4 players, it then searches for offensive players. It then takes them to a much,much bigger template. Then, all players then get to choose the country to represent of their own. Once ready, players should start with 3,500 cash (Note: this mode will not require super advanced Troopes rather it will only spawn each player with these towers: Mortar, Military Base, Commander, Soldier, Militant, Ace Pilot, Pursuit, Sniper, Ranger, Engineer, Pyro, Medic, Farm, Rocketeer, Mercenary Base, Turret, (War machine/mecha base if possibly equipped) That is all. Also, all those towers can be picked by all players and not all can be equipped, this requires critical thinking when battling each other. (note: Who knows if developers are ever going to let players use Mecha Base/War Machine in the gamemode or just regular.)
Extras for this game mode: 1: Players can put their towers wherever they like, as long as they don't put it in Enemy territory.
2: Developers should make a path or code moving vehicles/towers everywhere as long as the front is clear and should be coded when if tower is being shot and should find cover as long as a trench or wall (any coverage) is present (Not vehicles because of their armor and should move as long as front is clear or no enemies present)
3: The players get to surround the enemy but that is as long as they have gained land and should use circles to surround an enemy or other strategies other than the one just mentioned. (Skills and knowledge are and will be used).
4:How does the player earn money? It will only earn money when each tower has killed another tower or if the players gained land then therefore the player who gained it should be payed upwards of $1,000 and can be used to upgrade towers, or buy more troops (note: that the players can run out of money so it will have to either retreat or use another strat.)
5: How will the players win? Either if the players territory have no money (should use a strat to gain or push troops to gain even more money) or no troops left, then therefore the other group wins.

also pvp is super easy ngl, spam engi's and its no problem for the entire game (unless ur stupid and doesnt know how to spam engi)
Idk if this issue only on me but if i kill breaker or necromancer affected by gpyro they still gonna spawn breaker 2 or skeleton at the end of the path
One thing i noticed is that everytime you kill a breaker a breaker 2 will spawn on the same spot of the opponents side
necromancers are glitched in pvp for example if they summon on blue side it will also happen on red side even though red sides necromancer is gone
Imagine a newbie player only with scout, paintballer and sniper, seeing how in his first pvp game, appears a man with golden minigunner, accelerator, brawler, ranger and golden cowboy

they just need to add cooldowns to the zombies and the cooldown decreases the higher the wave is so its balanced so you cant just spam a billion speedies and win

Hey corso i been playing pvp and i used my og loadout and it works like a charm 0 losses, g cow, engi, g pyro, g mini and dj. Maybe the best golden cowboy loadout and pvp loadout and engi?
The best PVP towers are executioner and golden pyro. Deals with normal spams easy since executioner can one shot them at level 0 and pyro deals with the w7 hiddens. Cooked my friend 4 times in a row with exec.

I just wanna point out that its literally btd battles.. Ok its not literally it but it does have some features from it... A whole 1 of them. (at least that's what I think) and its the eco system as in btd battles, sending bloons increases eco which gives you money.
The best loadout to beat this is using all spawner towers. They can literally obliterate enemies if their all maxed(elf camp included)

I use engi, g cowboy, DJ, and commander. And at wave 25 when grave digger comes I rush them with breakers 4.
At the PVP mode, i thought i could use some consumables to cheat, but i just realized you can SPAWN zombies. I was also in the mid-game while i doscovered this.
I like how that guys like "Bro I'm cooked" no idea why but that's hilarious how it went from referencing dope to being about being in a bad situation. It's just funny and I have no idea why. Any English nerds know?
in slang "cooking" still means succeeding/having a good idea whereas "cooking someone" means beating someone, so "getting cooked" means getting beaten
my thoughts on pvp is that it's okay, and nothing more than okay, mainly because it's a test
i don't like the system of you being rewarded for sending enemies by giving you cash for every sent enemy that the opposing player kills, and theres also no point in sending out any other threat besides giant boss or hidden boss because everything else is just you burning money with little to no reward, just spam the normal zombie and only the normal zombie up until you unlock the giant boss or the hidden boss because theres no penalty for mindless money getting spam
it's either do or die if you don't do the same thing as them
not to mention how dominant towers like pyro and cowboy are in pvp, but also the fact that if you don't bring them or something else on par or BETTER than them, you'll likely lose to the fact that you can send hiddens before they even officially appear for both sides or just spam rush in general (which is huge bullshit in every possible way) or just breaker spam which can suck ass to fight against if you're not bringing those two towers, also, if that idea where you can spawn event enemies from events you've beaten previously for the enemy, it'd be the rawest form of ASS to go against if your opponent has been playing since 2019 and onward
Big glitch - if u kill a breaker in the middle of the map, they will spawn 2x the amount that they needed to spawn

The PVP mode looks cool, but it’ll probably be more fun against friends as golden tower spam is pretty much a must have when playing against randoms. Still cool though
They definitely need to add duo trios and quads for this mode, if they do I think tds will be ten times more fun because it can allow more strategy and skill
