yeah i thought the same, but elf camp sleighs can't collide with anything besides major bosses, like molten boss, since major bosses have big bellies that sleighs hit.
you can actually use engi to kill lead balloons, you just need 2 people to focus on them. 4 max engi should be enough assuming theres lower levels spammed too.
A hardcore strategy to get to wave 45 is (all you need is engineer and farm) you place engineer for the first few waves, get it to level 2, then start farming. The engineer can handle until wave 16 when the breakers come out but by then your economy would be very good so then you can get more engineers. On wave 19 when the mega slow comes, make sure to get 6 level 2s and then those should handle until wave 23 when the shadow boss comes. By then you should have 8 level 3 farms so with that money that you have from your farms, you get a level 4 engineer. That should handle wave 23. On wave 25 you get level 5 engineer to barely handle the 3 shadow bosses. Then keep saving for max engineers. By wave 39 you should have almost all engineer maxed or all the engineers already maxed then with just 6 towers placed down, (the 6 max engineers) this should carry you to wave 45. If you want to get past wave 45, use the towers ranger, engineer, and farm. Follow the same steps for the strategy to wave 45 but instead of just waiting after getting max engineers, get rangers and set them to strongest. This should bring you to wave 49 where the fallen king comes out. I don’t know how to make a simple strategy for this wave but a more advanced strategy to get to wave 50 is using accelerator, engineer, farm, ranger, and golden mini gunner. I used those towers and got to wave 50 but I lost to the vindicator stun spam. I have absolutely no clue how to handle vindicator spam without sacrificing a tower slot to get medic so if someone would please tell me a way to solo hardcore triumph I would be very grateful. (This took me a lot of time to figure out if this strategy work so I would be very grateful for some likes)

Let me get it clear. *UNIT* and *TOWER* are never the same thing. If it has a visible health bar and is spawned by a *TOWER,* it’s a *UNIT* (u see nothing said about moving cuz sentries). Hence ace and pursuit are *MOVING TOWERS* (another type of *TOWERS* let’s say) that got nothing to do with *UNITS.*

This is why i hate breakers so much they insta kill units. Some of you are probably saying “well they are better cuz no boss spam” while that is true, breakers are so FAST and have 50 HEALTH!!! So strong and fast, and destroy units! This is why i prefer mysteries

The max level Elf Camp could actually hit the lead balloons due to the sleighs they spawn being flying units
It makes sense but it doesn't work unfortunately
Gift bomber cannot actually detect nor collide with flying enemys, look at the wiki

Try using electroshocker than engineer since elecetroshocker kills lead and flying enemies
electroshocker doesn’t summon units
One small thing you could've done, and that is to place down a necromancer instead of an engi as it has flying detection from the get go
it’s too expensive and has horrible value before level 4, so it wasn’t a viable option for the early game bloons
